Outage

Our ISP experienced a newtwork outage just before 5pm CST today. I will post an update when service is restored.

Because I was in the datacenter at the time. I came home early and realized my VPN was down, a few tests later I knew something was amiss at the office and went back in. It was I understand an AT&T routing issue.

Convieniently I also have a cable connection in the DC but it was not down long enough to change dns entries, but there is a backup plan. The bandwidth would suck major, so it is primarily intended to give me another doorway into the DC.

Sorry I forgot to say it so that all the Bostonites could understand.

Is anyone else getting

Network Error (tcp_error)

messages? I'm getting it about half the time. I don't know enough to know if that is my issue or the sites. :)
