Am I the only person seeing poor forum performance the last day or two?
Or are you guys suddenly much less bitchy than you have been historically?

Re: Performance
No, it's not just you, but I don't think it's anything OO-specific, either.
I've run tracerts and they're all good up until the last couple of hops, then they start dropping packets left and right. Such as this example:
5 17 ms 20 ms 19 ms te-1-0-0-0-cr01.miami.fl.ibone.comcast.net [68.8
6.95.249]
6 28 ms 28 ms 27 ms pos-1-10-0-0-cr01.atlanta.ga.ibone.comcast.net [
68.86.85.5]
7 33 ms 30 ms 69 ms pos-0-0-0-0-pe01.56marietta.ga.ibone.comcast.net
[68.86.86.82]
8 29 ms 29 ms 30 ms 173-167-57-134-static.hfc.comcastbusiness.net [1
73.167.57.134]
9 * 54 ms * 10ge1-1.jax01.volumedrive.com [69.31.135.30]
10 * * * Request timed out.
11 37 ms 38 ms * octopusoverlords.com [199.19.106.248]
12 * 37 ms * octopusoverlords.com [199.19.106.248]
13 * 48 ms 35 ms octopusoverlords.com [199.19.106.248]
Trace complete.
Looks like volumedrive is having issues.

Re: Performance
That would explain why it seems to come and go. Right now it is snappy again.
If it keeps up I will see if FP can have the provider investigate.

Re: Performance
Yup, I was getting the exact same packet loss that Zurai described yesterday.

Re: Performance
Having big problems right now... wasn't having any maybe an hour ago... almost never have issues. But can't even get a page of a thread loaded without long waits... (other sites fine atm).
Edit: And as I went to run my own tracert, I get nothing unusual. And when I returned here to edit, everything seems fine again.
Never mind, I guess.
