Performance Issues
I'm pretty sure the weird network response is @ the data center (I've opened a ticket), but rebooting this bad boy to be certain.
Back soon!
UPDATE: Provider has indicated their network under a DDoS attack from a large botnet.. They are working to block it upstream.

Re: Board reboot @ 9amish Eastern
Can't get an SSH session to stick due to the timeouts.. Definitely looks network related, in the event I can get in long enough to reboot, I will so don't be surprised if it's offline for a minute or two.

Re: Performance Issues
Your server down message appears to be out of date.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

Maybe im missing something, or you started your day with a quick pint of scotch but that really doesn't clear things up for me.Isgrimnur wrote:I got a Good News! ... server migration ... 18xx hours message earlier.
At any rate I've updated the board to the latest rev of phpbb3, if there's any weirdness let me know. This thread will move to Meta shortly if there are no further performance issues from the DDoS.

Re: Performance Issues
There was a message saying something about congrats you've reached the new page with (what I would assume) was an indication you were monitoring the transition and posting the progress at "17:35 EST" or something similar.
Maybe next year, maybe no go

That's weird. Thanks for the heads up, I'll go look for what the heck caused that.

Re: Performance Issues
More along the lines of "Congratulations! You've reached the new server. Migration at 1735 hours." lasted four or five minutes.

Also, something got screwed up in Tapatalk. It was showing me a message from a forum I highly doubt I'm supposed to see.

Re: Performance Issues
Ok I deleted TP and reinstalled manually (No automod crap). On my droid everything looks as it should when not logged in. Can you confirm the same on your side?Isgrimnur wrote:I'm helping!

I don't see anything I shouldn't on mine.
wot?
To be fair, adolescent power fantasy tripe is way easier to write than absurd existential horror, and every community has got to start somewhere... right?
