That's called "stylized". Either that or "you get what you pay for". I think he's got a skin condition that makes the right side of his cephalo-face swell up.

The new logo looks great in Black Pearl. Classy, inasmuch as that word encompasses an octopus rampage.

is it possible to lower the logo so it's touching the lower red border, or to 'uncrop' it (if more of the image exists)? that expanse of space underneath ruins the effect.

What theme? Not sure what you mean -- the logo is a transparent PNG and doesn't have a border.

Yea, I think it is just that the gap (put in by phpbb I would think) beneath the logo is just excessive.
You don't notice it on logos that don't have a flat bottom.
Still looks good but would be even better if the blank area beneath it were 10-25% of what it is.

I think I fixed it in the Black Pearl theme.. Or at least normalized it.

Looks like New York. The Octopus seems to be getting intimate with the Chrysler building. That would have been a sight to see from my balcony when I lived in NYC. Before jumping off the balcony in madness, of course.

Is there no way to write a simple script to rotate through the best 4/5 logo images once a week/month or so? That might make everyone happy and keep things from getting stale.
