Todays outage

Post by FishPants »

Sorry guys I know its your holidays and I deprived you of your OO on Thanksgiving!

Anyways the problem is fixed.. a garbage collection routine wasn't happening, and a partition filled up. Need to figure out why that wasn't cleaning up when it said it was, anyhow everything should be back to normal.

I'm Canadian, it was great. (In October).

I kind of worked today, had some beers, watched some football and then realized OO was down. My bad.

Huh, I thought Thanksgiving was when Canadians went out and tapped the maple trees.

American thanksgiving is when Canadians who work for American companies spend the day in bars checking email on their phones and watching football. It's a hard job, but someone has to hold down the fort.

It's also when Canadians who work in tech support get calls from Americans trying to get their cable working for the football. ;)

Happened many a times when my Dad worked tech support.
