So I have added the Admin email address to my contacts list, and it still puts all of the email notifications into my spam folder. Anyone know a way for me to change my settings on Gmail, or should I get a new free email provider?
Thanks for any help.

Sheesh, this is one small box. Thankfully, everything's packed in nicely this time. Not too tight nor too loose (someone's sig in 3, 2, ...). - Hepcat

Re: GMAIL marks all emails from OO as Spam
Doesn't gmail "learn" if you mark it as "not spam" and/or drag it to the inbox? It seems that's worked for me in the past.
Here's why they mark it as spam, BTW:
Now that I think about it, I may have had to create a filter in Gmail.
Do a search in Gmail for
Then in the pull down menu on the search box, click on "create filter with this search". Then click on "never send to Spam folder" or something similar. Then create the filter.
Here's why they mark it as spam, BTW:
Don't know if that's something we can change on our end or not.Authentication & Identification
To ensure that Gmail can identify you:
•Use a consistent IP address to send bulk mail.
•Keep valid reverse DNS records for the IP address(es) from which you send mail, pointing to your domain.
•Use the same address in the 'From:' header on every bulk mail you send.
We also recommend the following:
•Sign messages with DKIM. We do not authenticate messages signed with keys using fewer than 1024 bits.
•Publish an SPF record.
•Publish a DMARC policy.
Learn more about email authentication.
Additional guidelines for IPv6
•The sending IP must have a PTR record (i.e., a reverse DNS of the sending IP) and it should match the IP obtained via the forward DNS resolution of the hostname specified in the PTR record. Otherwise, mail will be marked as spam or possibly rejected.
•The sending domain should pass either SPF check or DKIM check. Otherwise, mail might be marked as spam.

Do a search in Gmail for

Ah, the filter is what I had to set up.
Just marking it as Not Spam does not seem to fix it. So I added the filter and marked it as 'never send to spam'.
So we shall see if that fixes it.

Re: GMAIL marks all emails from OO as Spam
So I fixed the SPAM issues and it has been working fine, but suddenly around last week or the week before I no longer get emails from OO that a post has been added, or a PM message is inbound..Nada, nothing. It is not in my SPAM folder in GMAIL.
Any thoughts? Is there a setting I changed somehow?
Remember to talk slow, I am in management, so don't comprehend everything...

This is happening to me, as well. Looks like maybe our emails aren't going out?RMC wrote:So I fixed the SPAM issues and it has been working fine, but suddenly around last week or the week before I no longer get emails from OO that a post has been added, or a PM message is inbound..Nada, nothing.
