Still weird and I'm not sure what the problem because some appear but this is how I see most tweets and it's new behaviour.

Same. I see the actual bigimg tags and the link but not the pic. Not a theme, just dark setting in Tapatalk itself. Regular white colour does the same.
Edit: night reading mode in profile settings of Tapatalk.

Ok looks like that worked. I'll have to look and see if anyone posted a 3.2 compatible twitter tag (for historic posts); but for now any raw links to Youtube, Twitter etc will be converted.
EDIT: Sorry that's in Firefox, not Tapatalk. My bad.
Also shows up like that in Chrome, unlike when I put tweet tags around the tweet, when it looks normal.
The youtube link works (though I kind of wish that particular one didn't )

Works for me in Chrome. I see the loading symbol for a split second, but it is immediately replaced with the tweet.
Could it be an issue with security software/plugins blocking it?

If you be script blockin', best be un-blockin' cephalopodic scripts.

Can this be updated to include x.com URL's?

FWIW, when Musk took over Twitter, he changed it so that people have to pay for the API. I manage several Wordpress sites and the Twitter-X feed still doesn't work there. So, I kind of doubt it's going to happen.

It works today on the web version of OO. The issue is that the forum software only looks for twitter.com, and most copied links from the bird site today are x.com. AFAIK, it's not using the Twitter API at all; our current issue is simply that the forum software doesn't know to interpret x.com links as Twitter posts.
Tapatalk, admittedly may be a different story, but I'd be surprised if Tapatalk doesn't have a working tweet interpreter going yet.

Ahh right, good point. I hadn't even thought about. I guess it needs a string parser.
And the Wordpress widget is the basic one that came with Wordpress via Jetpack.
