That's what I've been doing. But I do worry that I'm not getting the full benefit of a card every now and again when I lose an encounter.

Right. When the game first came out there was general confusion over the mechanics versus actual card errors. I think they made a number of assumptions for mechanics (words, phrases, RPG concepts) that didn't work out for people that had no pen and paper RPG experience. Things like, "Can I equip two helmets at the same time?" No, no you cannot. But there were definitely card errors -- missing or misprinted bonuses or attributes that confused things.

When some of them involve things like checks that are supposed to be 4 being printed as 14, I think it is worth going through.

Absolutely. The problem was (at the time) that card misprints and clarifications for game play mechanics were being given the same weight in terms of describing the number of mistakes the base set had. There are definitely misprints, but IIRC it's less than half a dozen across all the base-game cards.

Tried to get it to run on my iPad 2. Crashes before I can even play. Sadness.

I look forward to hearing what the American Welding Society had to say.

Amazon AWS. It's their cloud endeavor. Although I suspect that I would've had more fun had it been for welders.

No need to pretend, hepcat, it's OK to admit that you attended one of my seminars.

For some reason, I thought that was a picture of The Winter Soldier at first. Then I remembered the movie it was taken from (I'm a big fan of Paul Thomas Anderson, oddly enough).
