So, it seems that the crazy new thing all the hip kids do involves automatically sharing game events via Facebook and Twitter. Both the PS4 and XBoxOne have features like this built in. I don't mind the idea - I like having a timeline of when I played what, as well as a place I can stick screenshots and such.
On the other hand, I have no intention of spamming my real-life friends and family every time I get an achievement or take a screenshot.
So, after reading about a few other people doing the same, I went and created a second Facebook page here. I kept most of my personal stuff off of it - where I've worked, where I went to school, etc. The idea is that people who are interested in my gaming activities can 'friend' that page separately. Those not interested can simply ignore it.
As this kind of feature set is only going to become more common in the future, I thought it might be worthwhile to set up a thread where like-minded people can find each other, much like the Steam/PSN/Xbox threads we already have.
