I made a game with local multiplayer!

Post by qp »

Hey guys, loooooooooooong time. But AustinOO was like you should tell the guys at OO about your game. And I was like "OO?" I mean C# is OO and all, then I was like "Octopus Overlords" why the crap haven't I been on that site in so long??

Anyways my game is called Battletank: L.O.B.A. (Local Offline Battle Arena), it's basically Atari Combat on Windows, with Powerups and such. It's actually a fair bit of fun to play, especially if you can get four people together. (I've since added bots, but they're not so smrt) Realizing that local mp isn't going to cut it, I've also started working on single/coop missions.

I put the thing up on Greenlight where it's done modestly well, currently sitting at 40% of the way to the top ten, about 3200 yes votes. If you guys could give it a vote i'd appreciate it! And I could probably give away a copy or two if you pm me!

I'll have to post about my near- two year long full time indie development adventure later!

Added to the list of things to check out when I get home.

Added a vote in greenlight regardless.

Is "This" the T-Rex or the first person view? I am good with either. :)

Getting strong twitter demands to play as the Steam Rex - I think I might just be able to pull that off!

Slowly whipping the t-rex into shape - at first I didn't realize he was trying to go for powerups so I was going nuts wondering why he wasn't going for my tanks!
