Vidiot mag back issues online

Post by Daehawk »

I found a pic and looked into it and it was from Vidiot magazine from the very early 1980's and then I found them online. Thought others might like to go on a trip back in time with me. Really takes me back there. I LOVED so many of those times and games.

The original pic and the re draw.

Some of those old stories and ads really hit me.

If you link one level up, there are a lot more choices.

In fact, if you go here, those choices include comics, manuals, magazines, books, etc (including the Donkey Kong guide I picked up at PayLess Drugs when I was like nine.)

Back in those days I got a mag called B.A.S.I.C which was all for my Atari 800XL I think. It had little info bits and news and always came with a small BASIC program for you to type in and see what it did. Maybe a sound or a rainbow...something simple but you felt special you could do it....hey I was like 12 :)

Thanks BH for those links. I feel Im back there again. Kinda sad too. Man I miss those times and all I've lost over the years. I miss them all.
