Seeking specific board game type
There was a kickstarter for a game called Tiny Zombies and we were really looking forward to it but as far as I know, it's failed several times and hasn't actually been published.
You can see a video of a preview version here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ3f2_lioJ0
What intrigued us most was the way you create the map with cards as you go, and we're looking for a game like that but I don't know what to call that in order to search.
Anyone know of another game like that?

Map-making games, or modular board games according to BGG.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

I've also seen them described as 'tile laying games'.
Carcassone is a big one. Tikal also comes to mind.

Not card (or zombie) based, but DungeonQuest has you building the game board from randomly pulled tiles.ibdoomed wrote:Anyone know of another game like that?

The game isn't my cup of tea, but the board game Zombies!!! might be what you are looking for.

Not with zombies (but with alien robots, mutants and gangs), another very fun tile-laying combat game: Neuroshima Hex!

Ah! Carcassone! Ok. We've always heard the name but thought it was a baby game like chutes and ladders. I'll grab that next. Neuroshima Hex looks awesome though.
Also leaning toward Rivet Wars too as the next game although it's not in the map-tile-laying format.
