A single babel fish shoots out of the slot. It sails across the room and hits the dressing gown. The fish slides down the sleeve of the gown and falls to the floor, landing on the towel. A split-second later, a tiny cleaning robot whizzes across the floor, grabs the fish, and continues its breakneck pace towards a tiny robot panel at the base of the wall. The robot zips through the panel, and is gone.

And a lot of the lines the rest of the characters deliver as well. I can't think of any other game that has had dialogue stick in my mind so well.
Handsome Jack is like the ultimate antagonist. Sure, I want to beat the boss in most games, but in Borderlands 2 I want to strangle the ever living shit out of him until his eyes pop out of his head, while alternating between loud guffaws and screams of rage.

I've played through that quote like 11 times. I laugh every time. The long meandering anecdote about scooping some poor shlub's eyes out in front of his kids, followed by the moral of you being a total bitch. I know exactly when it triggers and I know exactly what I'm doing for the entire length of the quote.

Just a fantastic piece of writing and delivery. And that's not even considering the idea that Jack thinks he's the good guy through all of this.

Cave Johnson
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. [coughs] Let's all stay positive and do some science.

All right, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons? Don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! 'I don't want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these?' Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's going to burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm going to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!
It's almost as if people are the problem.

I've been playing Grim Fandango with the kiddo. She loved this line and took to yelling it at school during recess. One teacher heard her and reprimanded her. Kiddo came home upset and I asked the teacher what was wrong with her saying that and apparently the teacher misheard it as "Run you bitches, it's Robert Frost!" After it was all sorted out, I was a bit upset that the teacher would assume she said that without any further investigation, or without at least telling the kiddo what the verboten word actually was. But then remembered mishearing the lyrics in The Mighty Quinn for a decade.

Anachronox has quite a few zingers.

This said after turning in a quest in which you have to retrieve a ... sock.
Gnash them snappers, kid; I got a sock that eats like a meal. This putrid, unwashed, puss-soaked, blood-crusted sock was fermenting around a gangrenous stump of a foot for eight and half months. This is the chewiest, smelliest sock you'll ever have the luck to nosh on. And you're just a short Q&A away from suckin' this baby dry!
Not so much a line, but a convo. This happens while the characters are stuck in a ship for days getting on each other's nerves:
Grumpos: "Look, you left a sock over there... over there... Is it so hard to pick up after yourself?"
Sly: "What? I was gonna pick it up tomorrow!"
Grumpos: "Tomorrow? Tomorrow?! YOU SON OF A...!" (brawl ensues)

This one happens while the characters are on a spaceship and everything then is comic-book style, along with a super villain, and when you encounter him at the end, he goes all melodramatic and says:
Rictus: I shall kill you... with *death*!

That one's stayed with me for years, and I still quote it from time to time.
