Original D&D artist Jeff Dee & Writer Jack Herman need help.

Post by Skeptic »

Jeff Dee (who did great artwork for dozens of different RPG products ranging from D&D and AD&D rule books and modules to games like Space Opera and his own game Villains and Vigilantes (the second super hero RPG ever created) and Jack Herman (writer of comics and RPG products since the early 1980s) need to raise $15,000 dollars by midnight on Sunday to retain the rights to THEIR V&V RPG as Scott Bizar has opted to try suimng the creators in the hopes they cannot afford the lawyer's retainer and he can pretty much steal the whole thing. They have a bit over $13,000 right now.

Here is the GoFundMe page:

If you care at all about creators' rights, the RPG industry and history then please consider donating $5 or whatever you can as this will help tremendously.

I can't donate, but I shared (which, as I discovered, can be a really big deal.)

Out of curiosity, why are you disguising the link?

The forum would not allow me to post the link for some reason. The post kept going through but the link would be left out every time I tried.

Edit: Still not allowing the link.

You have to use the URL tags. It's a known issue.
It's almost as if people are the problem.

Yeah, the forum doesn't automatically parse links unless you tell it to.

Here is the link.
