I think this is going to be a board game-centric Christmas for me. I really don't need or want anything of any significance, and I don't have time to play the video games I already have. With a regular gaming group meeting every week, though, new board games will definitely be consumed.

Mechs vs Minions is really high on my wish list, but I've already ordered that one for myself so that's a guarantee. I'd also love Arkham Horror:LCG, Terraforming Mars, Scythe, Blood Rage...yeah the list goes on and on. :D

I have Terraforming Mars. Really like it. Partial to space theme. This is build your engine game, but actually have enough time to see effects of engine. Tons of cards to give varied play. Recommend starting with corporation cards from the start. A lot going on in game, but simple mechanics. Always feel that resource / money pinch.

My wish list contains:
Clank!

Escape from Colditz
Ponzi Scheme

All games I played and enjoyed at BGGCON last week.

Here are the board games that are currently on my Amazon wish list. Generally speaking, these are games that I'm intrigued by, but not quite enough to pull the trigger myself. I almost never actually get games as presents, so they tend to linger on the list for years.

Kanagawa
Moby Dick, or, the Card Game
Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower
Mansions of Madness 2nd edition
Freedom: The Underground Railroad
Catacombs 3rd edition
Leaving Earth
Cosmic Encounter
Skull
Tokaido
Love Letter
That old-school labyrinth game, with the two knobs and the metal ball
