I can't remember if any of the other OO board gamers live in New York, but if so there's a "garage sale" in lower Manhattan this Sunday evening:
I will be there, trying to unload my copy of Myth (remember Myth?) and maybe a few other things.

Re: Board game swap/sale in Manhattan
I successfully got rid of Myth - sold it a local guy very, very cheap after convincing him he could cannibalize its zillions of miniatures for prototypes and other games.
Picked up Lovecraft Letter, Century Spice Road and Guildhall, a set-collection card game. All of which together take up much, much less space than Myth, so I'm chalking this up as a win.

Ah myth. I was lucky, I sold mine when people thought it was still a hot commodity.

Wish I had something like this locally. Instead, I just unload all my stuff online.
Myth has been purchased by Ulysses Spiel North America and is allegedly going to be fully supported by them. It's not dead yet (but it might as well be). I still don't own a game quite like it. A shame, really.

Maybe next year, maybe no go
