OO Minis Painters (and friends!) Zoom Hangout 08/22/2020

Post by hentzau »

Anyone interested in doing another hang out this Saturday? 8PM Central, like the last one?

Anyone who wants to join up, even just to say hello, PM me and I'll hook you up with an invite.

You should stream it! :)

Make the fat stacks to pay for that board game table... or you know, make nothing. whatever.

I'm interested. I need to get something paintable by then, as I haven't touched a brush in a couple of months.

If I am able to make it, it won't be for long. Depending on when Michelle decides to go to bed, I may only have 30 minutes.

I’ll make it when the family winds down from the youngest’s birthday weekend.

Anyone else want on board, send me a message. I’ll get you an invite sent back.

Thanks! I had fun. My painting area is in the bedroom. Michelle has to get up every morning at around 5, so going to bed at 9 is eight hours of sleep - and we start this at nine, so I'm not able to stay a long time, but I'd be interested in continuing.

Man. Your stuff gets better and better.

I got 2 of these to this point, plus a frigate about halfway to this point, and two other brigs and another frigate with the decking painted. Still a bunch of work to go.

I love it - that kind of detail work is just amazing to me.

Also, per last night's conversation, you'll be happy(?) to know that I'm currently painting an orc baby puke yellow-green.

I love that ship!

I couldn't make it because our internet went down, but here's the guy I painted that evening.

I had planned to be on, but my mom volunteered to keep the kids so I had a rare date night. I think for my Zoom hangout project I'll tackle one of my bigger Cthulhu: Death May Die figures. I'm in the mood to paint something larger scale.
