Hmm... I remember the part about the private forum, but didn't remember anything about the PM's.. maybe I should be paying more attention.Holman wrote:Hold on hold on hold on...Punisher TODAY wrote:ok, so the seer doesn't have to actually reveal their scans, they can just keep it t themselves for a while.
Can players other then evil PM each other? that could be useful for the seer to slowly build up a "secret" good alliance.
Punisher, you and I had this exchange a few days ago:
Punisher wrote:I thought that nobody knew who anyone was so how could any team have a coach?Holman wrote:The evil team has its own private forum where they can communicate behind the scenes. (AS YOU NO DOUBT KNOW!!!)
The rest of us are limited to open talk on the game forum. In fact, private messages WRT to the game are against the rules. How are you still wondering now whether players can PM each other?Punisher wrote:Must have missed the private forum thing. I thought nobody knew who any one was.
If evil knows each other, then all kills they make are known good guys so it would seem it is easier for them. In fact, if they just stay quiet, all kills would be random except for theirs so I would think they have a much easier path to victory...
This just crossed the line from looking like genuine newbiness to looking like strategically feigned newbiness.
And believe me, I've walked that line.

that was my quote right after you asked "why the narrow focus?"Lassr wrote: We have 9 days left. If we can manage to get someone else to 10 then fine. I have no real suspects right now. Punisher is high on my list but as I said I am willing to give him a pass for a couple of days. Could be a bad play but I am willing to do it to get new blood in these games.
If we do get someone up there and they claim special I think we should be quick to change our vote to Moliere to test him. I don't want to go into night with no lynch. No lynches leads to evil victory as we are accomplishing nothing toward victory.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

We've been through that before, we call bacon bacon and ham ham, anyway in Quebec we do. Could be a western Canada thing where they call our "canadian bacon" bacon but I'm not convinced since I've had bacon a few times while in Calgary and it was, well, normal bacon.Remus West wrote:I'm upset that you call ham "bacon" even though it still tastes good.

I could see the 'mostly quiet' scoop being evil scoop. He seems to have kept himself out of this first day's comedic routine - which is a little off.
And, in an effort the get something going here before out deadline (practice what I preach):

The game started 7 days ago. Do you consider your 3 posts in that time to be "more engaged, and earlier-engaged" than your usual dearth of posts? On the Alex Jones podcast today he said your announcement was a black flag operation meant to mislead us. I guess that makes me a Grundbegriff Truther.Grundbegriff wrote:Announcing before roles go out that I'll be playing in a more engaged, and earlier-engaged, way this time. Don't read anything into it. And I still want Unagi to justify his accusations against El G, Grund, and me. (He did offer something on Remus, although that could've been just throwing smoke.)
This reads to me like just trying to get something going on experienced players (El G, Grund, Remus) who make life hard for wolves. I really can't see the basis for it in this game.
(Grund's weird claim is still Grund's weird claim, but it hadn't happened yet when Unagi threw suspicion.)
