So here's a question. How/where do you actually collect the artifacts? Asking for a friend.
Look for enemy heros with a star as part of their icon. Kill them, walk over where they were and auto-pickup their loot.

Or, you could do quests and explore ruiins and find them yourself rather than ruthlessly killing the people who spent their time doing quests and exploring ruins.

PS: Didn't Archinerd say he had some artifacts? That might be a good place to start hunting enemy heroes. :)

Just walk over them with a hero.

And I no longer have any artifacts. Dave stole them!

You can also transfer them between heroes in the same stack, but you need to drop them on the ground and the pick them up in the hero dialog. Don't destroy them if you can even do that.

Note, everyone's starting hero had their capture the flag item.

Thanks to whoever declared war on me a turn or two ago. You're much closer than Arch is! And my maintenance is exceeding my income again. I need more money/less maintenance. Your assistance in these matters is greatly appreciated.

You helped, but I still have a ton of armies. You helped some more on my turn (wow those troops were grossly ineffective, they were never going to win but thought they'd whittle you down more before the main event). That must not have been your main hero though if we all start with a flag item.

EDIT: Turn 23 sent to Ralph.

Is it sad that waiting for the next turn of this game is like the most exciting thing I look forward to in day to day life?

It has me constantly checking my personal email I used a lot more than I usually do, and I'm always a bit down when I see that I don't have a new turn!

Yeah, I'm going to say that I should've gotten a summoner at some point during this game.

Necromancer's have a similar spell.

Wizards and Shamans I don't think so. Priests don't have a hoard summon, but they do have a ARCHON summon (fairly potent unit).

Either I should not have summoned more friends or I should have expended more of the pathetic ones on you that turn.

And why don't you have more money for me to pillage? :p

EDIT: Meant to point out I'd sent turn 24 to Ralph as well.

I mailed turn 25 to Pyperkub about 14 hours ago.
Jesus said, "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body."[Matt 10:28] God can totally destroy us.

Jesus also said, "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”[John 6:40] Eternal life is conditional.

His disciple John wrote, "Whoever has the Son has eternal life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have eternal life. [1 John 5:12] Eternal life is optional.

Turn 25 sent to Ralph Wiggum.

Think it's time to slow down my army production some (whether or not I want to).
