That sounds fun.

Trig said he was prepping a Get Smart game, so maybe give him right of first refusal. If he's not ready, I say go for it Lassr.

I could also run an X-Files or a second Princess Bride (with tweaks) after Lassr's and/or trig's games.

The power cards is an interesting concept and I can't wait to see how it works. I agree with Q, let's see if Trig is ready to run his game, if not, then i also say go for it.

With Trig's potentially epic game on hold, maybe we can try the card WW concept? Start sign ups now and Lassr can start the game after the 22nd when he gets back from vacation?

Given that it's now September (and that trig's Monstrumology premise sounds very cool), it would be a good time for trig to get his game rolling.

If he defers, though, I can put something together by this weekend.

It is apparent that we're in a WW lull, but hopefully the interest will rise again soon.

I'll be up to play (or host) whenever the OOWW population gathers again.

X-Com Enemy Unknown rocks! :D

Also, I'm pondering a Looking for Group themed game. Richard would have the power to "convert" someone to his side by turning them into a skeleton. Due to Richard being one of the "good" guys this would work by killing the player but counting them as a hit point for the village unless they are killed by the wolves. That way you won't have a wolf converted and point out his former compatriots but the good guys can still have a conversion ability.

We currently seem to be in a lull. Usually there are a couple games going on at once, but currently there is the one. Mostly the forum plays werewolf, but occasionally we play board games adapted to a forum format. You can observe the current racing game to get a little flavor. I would think someone will get antsy soon and start a werewolf game. Fresh blood is always tasty... I mean... er... welcome. Yes, welcome, that is the word. Werewolf is an easy game to learn and play. So easy, that some have added rules and roles to spice it up.

When a new game starts, you can definitely add your name to the player list. Just watch for a new thread to pop up asking for people to sign up. Rules will be taught at the time of sign up.

A simple WW game just ended and it was only 6 pages long. See (WW) Diamonds are Forever. It is the simplest game we play (2 bad guys, 1 seer) Some of the more complicated ones can go 50 pages+.

You can look for some of my BSG games for more complicated ones and can read the last few pages as I usually post all the behind the scenes stuff at the end and you can see how the game went in Reader Digest form. Looks like BSGV was the last game I posted all the spoilers on OO, Link: http://www.octopusoverlords.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1425665#p1425665. Spoilers for the later BSG games are at our other forum where a lot of the bad guy communications and behind the scenes stuff happens. http://ooww.freeforums.org/.

its really simple to play, but hard to master i'd think. People bring a diverse set of skills to the table. Some are natural leaders, some are natural detecters, some are natural deceivers.

Basically the way i like to look at it is two ways.

1. If good = you are trying to solve a mystery of who are the bad guys. YOu're basically a detective, and try to figure it out

2. If Evil = you're trying to stay alive and get away w/ murder (figuratively).

I think we are in a lull at the moment to be honest...which happens as folks desire to recharge their batteries.

Read through the latest one twice. First time try to find the bad guys. Second read through, know who the bad guys are...and see what they did to try to survive.
Oh my gravy.....

Spoiler:
PuppetMaster,

Our records indicate that you have not taken advantage of your free forum with us lately. To keep your forum active, simply login to http://ooww.freeforums.org/ and make a post before October 29th, 2012. If you no longer have a need for your forum, do nothing and it will expire at that time.

Now, I don't have the password for PuppetMaster since I wasn't the last to host a ooww game, but it seems the account still has my e-mail. So, whoever has the keys to that forum, please do what the overlord says. :)
