Zack, I was at 311 before the PIT game and did not lock them. Shouldn't I still be at 311?

Edit: and I just noticed that Miss Taken is also 2 points off. Maybe this is systematic?

Big-impact games from the first set: BUF @ KC, NYJ @ TB, MIA @ JAX. Also, locks are fairly spread-out this week, so some games that are fairly close to unanimous will still have some impact. Good luck to all. (Especially CHI, NO, HOU, PHI, and ARI, all of which need to win in order for CHI to continue a farcical shot at the post-season.)

Two folks gave up this week, saving Jeff V from the Dumbass award. Jim Spielman and Exodor--you are dead to me!

I don't want to toot the pool's horn too much, but last year's winner had 392 points. GamerIrv is on pace to top 420 this year, and several more are likely to top 405. Yegads, folks. Give the rest of us a chance, will you?

Game of the Week: The Bears' revitalized offense manages to score 0 points while the defense gives up > 30. I expected that the Lions would improve this year; I didn't expect to seriously believe they may be better than the Bears. Ugh.

Upset of the Week: OAK over DEN? CAR over MIN? DAL over NO? TB over SEA? I don't know. Pick one. GuidoTKP and $iljanus did really well this week--meaning they're certifiably insane.

Sure Thing of the Week: ARI over DET.

Guido wins the Dumbass award this week for submitting his picks in two parts. Or submitting one part of his two-part picks, at least. And an Ironman entry manages to win Week 16. Huh? With one week to go, Moghedian's Ironman entry also leads the EoS Surge tally, with several folks hot on his heels. You're right. Somehow I entered it as G B rather than GB. I'll correct in the next update, but your count is accurate.
