I would feel best about handing it to Lagom, if those were my options. Based on tru1cy's posts, I don't see how you can do anything other than vote for him on the last day.Unagi wrote:One question I've been asking myself.
If I am going to hand this game to 1 evil player among:
Brendan / tru1cy / Lagom
Who would I feel best about earning their win?
Brendan
As I mentioned above, I will vote for tru1cy or Lagom if they get to 2 votes.

Your self vote makes no sense, none to me at all. I can't imagine being 'a good guy' and just coming into the game at this point to just self-vote.Brendan wrote:I would feel best about handing it to Lagom, if those were my options. Re: The Dark Knight - End of Act 4
I committed to it yesterday - you guys have 3 targets and 2 days in which to kill our one remaining enemy. Clearly tru1cy and I are viable candidates, and Lagom could very easily be spoofing his role.Unagi wrote: Your self vote makes no sense, none to me at all. I know that I'm good - but you don't, and based on yesterday's goings-on, I fully expect to die today (regardless of my vote.) Hence, my self-vote, to demonstrate that I'm serious, but the caveat that I'm willing to vote for either of the other two unknowns, because I'm not stupid: if I die, it wastes a day, so I would rather not squander that opportunity.
In other words, I want to put the decision into your (and Scoop's) hands. Perhaps you'll be able to glean more information about the manner in which tru1cy and Lagom vote for me.

Lets see.
I'd like to vote tru1cy to see if his behavior at the start of the game fooled me.
I'd like to vote Brendan because he just self-voted.
I'll wait and see what you guys do.

Re: The Dark Knight - Act 5
I'm the one who pushed to lynch Grund yesterday, which looks bad, and it's reasonable to believe I'm equivalently worthy of being killed today. I'm just trying to avoid the inevitable discussion that would result if I pushed to lynch tru1cy or Lagom. Grund's reasoning yesterday was sound:Scoop20906 wrote:I'd like to vote Brendan because he just self-voted.
Grundbegriff, esteemed citizen and wrongfully executed innocent wrote:Oddly enough, this is yet another of those scenarios in which the optimum play for the Evildoer would be to keep alive anyone that people would hate to see in the final trio. In a previous game, I offered myself as a daytime victim (even though I was good) a step before that point so that the goods in the final trio wouldn't have their paranoia about me clouding their judgment.
We're moving toward that scenario again, now that there's only one evil. Keeping me alive is a good tactic for a solo evil, since it improves his odds in the final trio. So I don't expect to die by night. (I assume the trusteds are the primary targets, so that would be Lassr and Scoop and Unagi).
We're at 7 right now. Then there are 5. Then there are 3.
If we don't hit Evil at 7, then killing me at 5 even though I'm innocent is what's best for the team. So I propose that we try to hit him today. But if we miss, I strongly recommend that anyone who agrees with this rationale commit to killing me by day tomorrow.
In fact, a pact to kill me tomorrow if we miss today is probably something we should do overtly, since it will prevent deviation from the plan tomorrow (if tomorrow comes).

Your self-voting just caught my eye. If you are good then it seems odd you would be willing to do the evil player's work for him. Right now its just a guessing game with info from hundreds of posts to go over. There is no way we can scan for Ramirez so its really just wack-a-mole.
When I vote I will most likely vote for tru1cy.

Re: The Dark Knight - Act 5
I'm just trying to be transparent about everything. We can call it the "no sudden moves" doctrine.
I announced my willingness to cast the third vote on tru1cy or Lagom to demonstrate that I'm not suicidal. I cast the vote on myself to demonstrate that I'm confident you'll find that I'm a citizen if I die. The biggest risk to our success is that the remaining two untrusteds might consign me to death, so I guess this is an open invitation for Lagom to explain why he's trustworthy (because tru1cy can't achieve that metric for a variety of reasons.)

Sure go ahead and vote for me, but who would be a higher priority at this stage of the game if I was the bad guy
Batman or Alfred?
If Ramirez is left I would off Alfred as he can verify the kills. Batman is really no threat if the joker is supposedly dead...

Re: The Dark Knight - Act 5
theohall was The Sniper.
Which clears Unagi completely if I'm not mistaken.
Look, it's true I could be a Criminal faking. There is no hard evidence I can give you that I'm Alfred. You'll just have to read the thread and see how I played. My role was pretty limited but it *was* a special role, so I started off trying to push some buttons to get someone self-incriminating, but then the game started to live a life of its own and I scanned Chaosraven, verifying Remus, so I came out. And everyone started to come out. And we got lots of hits, and now we have several trusted and it's down to 3 people (me, tru1cy, Brendan) on 2 hits.
From where I sit, this game is already won as long as the trusted (Lassr and Unagi) don't screw up and vote me off.
If Ramirez is not tru1cy, she is Brendan.
tru1cy
Because tru1cy has felt odd the entire game.

I'm thinking we swing on tru1cy now. He's very much earned a lynch.
Brendan has worked hard for his win (if he's evil) and I think we should give him his one more day - but I really do lean with Grund's take on Lagom, even though he's been sitting in the wings a bit - I'm thinking he's the one that should win if he's evil. Brendan has earned a lynch too.
One of us dies tonight. One of us lives and makes the call. Just curious if you basically agree with me.
