Possibly so.
Here is a novel idea - why Scout Isgrimnur? We know he cannot be Gollum.
We know that? We've been inferring that Isgrimnur is what he says he is. I'm not aware of a good reason to think otherwise. But do we know he cannot be Gollum? I don't think anything proves that.
Even so, if we scout Isgrimnur, it will be to make a safe kill and leave the maximum number of viable candidates for the end. If we try to scout Gollum and fail, we narrow the circle of possible recipients.
Ordinarily, I'd say that we should play it safe and nuke Isgrimnur. But with Newcastle counterclaiming Brendan over the ring, you may have a point about eliminating the amphibian threat!
Three known Hobbits and one known FreeP: theohall, Brendan, Scoop, Isgrimnur. None can be Gollum.
Isgrimnur is not a confirmed Freep. He's a professed Freep. He could still be Gollum. Remember--
he did suggest that, as a trick move, we give the ring to him on the final night, remember? Not proof that he's Gollum, but pretty weird.
Scouting Isgrimnur guarantees Gollum a chance to win.
Please explain how you're sure that Isgrimnur is not Gollum.
