Simple WW Return of the Hunter(ish)-Day 3?

Post by Remus West »

So, we are without a game currently. If I get 11 players I'll add a second special if only 9 then we go with 2 "wolves" and a "seer" (names to be determined based off theme).

1. Semaj
2. Isgrimnur
3. Mr Bubbles
4. Scoop
5. Kenetickid
6. Theohall
7. Arcanis
8. Miltonite
9. Lagom Lite
10. Grundbegriff

Roles:
2 Werewolves - each night they must kill one of the villagers
1 Seer - Each night must scan on of the players. Learns human/werewolf.
1 Hunter - Each night he must guard a player. He can not guard the same person on consecutive nights. Guarding will protect a player targeted from being killed OR scanned. Can not guard himself.

Roles to go out sometime tonight. Game will start when everyone has checked in after I send the role PMs.

You can add both myself and Miltonite to the list. He forgot to join when i told him about the game and I want to eat his spleen if i'm a wolf :horse:

First time and I am going to try to get my feet wet in a simple game where I can't screw anything up too much. Maybe after this I will understand it and might be able to play a little more complicated game.

Unless you have a berserk wolf or a oneshot hunter, you'll want an even number unless you start during Day One.

Werewolves: You are a werewolf. Your pack mate is X. You are hungry and it is night. Do something about it.

Seer: You are the Seer. There is something amiss in your village. Uses you powers to determine what it is.

Hunter: You are the great Hunter. You have found several sets of strange prints this night. Could it be your village is in danger? Protect them.

Villagers: You are a villager. Perhaps a farmer. Maybe a brewer. Definitely on the menu though. Good luck.

PMs are out. When everyone has checked in I will make a start of game post.

I did not see anything in your other post saying you wanted in. Sorry. Also, someone was spot on in reminding me the number (odd/even) of players we would need to do this. :ninja:

The sun slowly set behind the forest as a bank of Grey clouds rolled slowly over the top of the first village hut. Gathered in the central pub the villager all drank deep of Miltonite's latest ale before saying their good-nights. Each of them looked long at the others as they departed for in the more primeval parts of their minds they could sense that something was different this night. Something was dangerous this night. Each villager wandered from the pub wondering if he would ever see his neighbors again. Wondering if he would ever want to. It is night.

Wolves - Who will you feed upon?
Seer - Who will you investigate?
Hunter - Who will you protect this dark night?

Game On!

Miltonite is a smart choice I think. It gives us very little to go off of. I'm leaning Grundbegriff.

I guess i didn't read that particular game. I know there were a few recently where you always seemed to have a gun and then proceeded to shoot your own team in the foot with it.
