WW, Semaj Edition, Game Over, Someone wins!

Post by Semaj »

We'll go with as simple as it gets... Well ok Almost as simple as it gets...

No special themes, no fuss no muss.

Background:

In the lands of my mind, a warped and deprived place where things go on I dare not say, there was once a small town in the middle of east bumfuck. So far from the beaten path it was, it quite literally was a small village of 9 to 11 people. No internet, no hookers, no reason for living one would assume. Luckily, before all hope was lost with the lack of wifi or anything began resembling civilized behavior, someone found a pile of bones out in the woods. Using the most amazing CSI machine ever invented they were able to tell it was dead animals who had been clawed to death then eaten by something with large fangs. Before this stupendous machine that could pretty much end the game before it began got too far along in telling them who did it, it exploded in the strangest way ever. While everyone was at lunch it seemed someone/something had clawed the machine till it went kablewey (Tm, Kablewey inc.).

Eventually Msteeler and J.D. realized there were werewolves in our midst. Now since it's well known my fancy for these games and these are the lands of my mind, it was understood it would play out just like a real life werewolf game. Luckily for everyone involved, rather than kill werewolves the old fashioned way, by making them watch twilight a few dozen times, they had "*The Pit of Death." A health hazard that had helped the town dwindle from 15 people to the number we'll eventually have. No one had any idea why the pit was here until they realized they had werewolves. Suddenly their lives made sense, this was clearly planned from the very beginning and now they all had a part to play. Hopefully a few could actually win and nab the werewolves and win the "Stupendous Super Massively Amazing and Really Really Cool And Outstanding Prize" or SSMARRCAOP for short. If they lose the werewolves win they get the "Not Nearly As Cool But Hey We Got To Eat A Lot Of Villagers Prize" or the "Dave from Accounting" Prize as it was commonly known.

Thusly we all sit and wait for the game to start and once it does, one can hope it will be better than that god awful travesty known as "Lebron Leaves Cleveland" show that was ESPN the other night.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rules:
PMing is allowed, between everyone, at any time. Thats right, I'm bringing back pm's... OH YEAH.

However at no time can you cut n paste PM's to anyone or post them. I know in theory they can be faked, but lets face it, it's a phenomenal way to reveal your a villager to another villager.

Rumor has it we'll have some kind of time limit here shortly. Once I can settle on whats an acceptable one to keep this game a moving. I will announce how long you have at the beginning of each day. My guess is someone will mention something about this soon and I will re-write this section more hard-coded.

If time runs out, the person with the highest vote count dies. If there is a tie, the person who reached the vote count first gets tossed into ye old pit of death.

Powered roles:
2 Werewolves, a Alpha and a Not-Alpha.
A seer

During the day the village must come to a majority decision on whom to throw into the "*The Pit of Death", a majority is half rounded up for those of you bad at math.

Werewolves choose someone to die at night, The Werewolf Alpha wins ties. (The guy who gets werewolf first from random.org)
The Seer chooses one person to scan at night and learns their role (Villager, Werewolf... )

Nighttime order:
Seer Scans
Wolves Kill.

Players/Victims:
1. J.D.
2. Msteelers
3. Chaosraven
4. Senior (Sen-your) Bubbles
5. Remus West
6. Stessier
7. Isgrimnur
8. Scoop de Ville
9. Theohall
10. Unagi

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boilerplate

It is now night-time, as such the wolves will play and the seer shall scan.
Wolves: Who will you kill.
Seer: Who will you scan?

Time limit voting. Majority locks in. After time limit, first to highest is lynch. Even number of players if wolves kill first (night start). 10 players for 2 wolves 1 seer.
"Where are you off to?"
"I don't know," Snufkin replied.
The door shut again and Snufkin entered his forest, with a hundred miles of silence ahead of him.

Why the hell not. I can handle it. Hopefully this one doesn't turn into the previous one though.

I'll play but you might want to make sure the two newbies know you signed them up.

I'm in.

What does Alpha wins ties mean?

2 day time limit if we are trying to finish up before the next game. If we can all handle two at a time, 4 day time limit.

Post by Semaj »

*Note: any name used was generated by random, org. As in, there will be no hints here, just insults and tomfoolery.

As people gathered around the now once great CSI Machine, J.D. couldn't help but exclaim: "We Have Werewolves! What will happen now? WON'T ANYONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!?!?"

Senior Bubbles looked over at J.D. with irritation and said: "1) There are no Televisions in this godforsaken hellhole so no one should get a Simpsons reference. 2) There are no children here, just grown up's acting like children from time to time."

Before J.D. could respond Isgrimnur looked at the gathered individuals and said: "Regardless of how right Mr Bubbles is, I cant help but notice it's almost night time. We should really consider doing something about this in the morning."

Everyone realized it made sense since I mean, who works at night? It's not like a portion of any populace does the night shift at a job or anything. Or like the cops all put down their badges and stop protecting the streets at 6:30 pm. But here in this quaint village once it's night everyone takes a nap. Must be nice, really. It's a good thing they don't need to have a night watchmen or something, they would be so screwed.

It is night 0 as such the wolves will play and the seer shall scan.

Wolves: Who will you kill.
Seer: Who will you scan?

*waits for exactly 3:30est to post this so that I can use this for time purposes later. I debated 12pm and 6pm, but 3:30 seemed more amusing*

Everyone gathered at the ex Uber CSI Machine and decided it was time to decide what to decide on the deciding. Once a decision about the decision's decisions decision had been made, they noticed the vote tally was only 9, not the normal 10, which was down from the 11 about a week ago.

A quick headcount revealed someone was missing. The geniuses then went to huts at random because no one could figure out who was missing until they reached a hut and inside found a huge pile of blood and bits. The name on the door said Senior Bubbles and they all realised why no one had noticed him, he usually was too busy sleeping to help anyways.

Senior Bubbles is dead.

It is day, there are now 9 people left, listed below. Majority is 5.

1. J.D.
2. Msteelers
3. Chaosraven
4. Senior (Sen-your) Bubbles
5. Remus West
6. Stessier
7. Isgrimnur
8. Scoop de Ville
9. Theohall
10. Unagi

Vote away.

Sidenote: No one ever decided on a good timeframe for the days voting. Any suggestions would be welcome.

One little mistake in interpretation. Could have happened to anyone!!
