Wow, I thought for sure that was gonna end in a tie. I went outside to grill up a few brats, burgers and shrimp and when I came in the Jets had won. Guess they got lucky in the end.

The season is over half complete and there is an IM within shooting distance of the #1 spot in the league.

Great week so far for my IM as it leaps back into the playoff picture...right behind my normal picks, which were terrible this week.

Not lucky. At the end, the Browns lost the chess match. They played press coverage on all of the Jets receivers on that last play and Santonio Holmes made them pay in a way that he regularly makes people pay when you don't provide safety help against him. He really has a talent for slithering by defenders.

I'm loving that my Bears got the win and the biggest shutout in the NFL this year, but WTF were Miami's coaches thinking? Thigpen is starting, so let's give Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams a combined 7 carries? I'm sure the early loss of their center had a hand in limiting their options, but geez. Zero Wildcat and nearly no running, there's no way Miami was gonna win that game.

Damn it. That is twice I have had a great upset picked that the Jets derail in the closing seconds or OT. First Detroit and now Houston. Had I actually gotten to watch Houston's pass defense before today I doubt I would have picked them though. Wow are they bad.

Yeah, I was referring more to the fact that it's easy to proclaim from the top.

I thought my score was pretty good until I looked at the spread. Easy is relative.

I've had two good weeks, yet I'm still 15 points below the cut line. You two fussing about your picks and point totals makes me want to go all Three Stooges on you.

Nice to be back over the cutoff line. Sadly, the weeks where I bombed were the ones where I did the majority of the picking, while my wife picked most of them this week. I think it's time to slide over to the passenger seat and let her drive for a little while.
