ok we hit the number i wanted to really get the game rolling. I will still leaving hte game open for sign ups through the weekend. Deadline to sign up will be 9 AM Sunday, pacific. After that, the game is a afoot. Gives me a bit more time to prep a few things.

Couple of things:


The game will be divided up two segments: Chapter & Interlude. Chapter is the “day cycle” where players will vote to have one of them die. The interlude is the “night” cycle, where the scanners can act and Spectre can choose a night kill.

Concept: I am using “marked for death” to take place of the lynch. In essence it serves as the same function, that person will die in the wrap up that will close each chapter and their alignment will be revealed.

It's an inline shorthand for if-then-else.

you should be ok, the game will start during the "day cycle" so hopefully, your fellow agents will resist murdering someone who hasnt checked in yet. I have no timeline when it will start on Sunday, when it's done really. I've been prepping the last few days, so am not too concerned. But, figure sunday. You should be fine really, takes a few 5-8 days to get through the 1st day cycle.

there is a good CR, very good CR...now go look through the lost thread and find all incidences where Theohall role plays and then find the corresponding losties who purposely misqueued their secret codes..then alphabetize, give it a threat level, and then do a reverse assessment..

I need an honest volunteer who has experience setting up secret forums to test a few things out. Please shoot me a PM or ask in here. I need to make sure the forum i have set up has the appropriate settings and what not configured. I've asked Stessier, but I think he's busy right now....anyone else volunteer please?

The basic thing I am trying to do...is this:
1. Make sure the Spoiler & Spectre forums are different
2. Make sure that those in the Spectre forum can not read what's in the Spoiler forum
3. Hide users until admitted within the forum.
4. Enable those who can go into the spoiler forum can also traverse into the Spectre forum.
5. Give any advice on setting it up that I might have missed.

Newcastle, when sending out unpowered agent roles, DON'T send out a unique number (011 - 022) to each agent. This can be abused by the good guys (and I'd like to have a shot at winning this time, thank you very much! ). Make sure all unpowered agents get the exact same PM.

In theory, it no one knew what numbers you actually assigned, it could work. Any agent could claim any number. If you told us what numbers you assigned, however, conniving agents could reveal their numbers to track each other. They would each be Seer like.

Agreed. You can assign different numbers to everyone without consequence (for flavor) as long as (a) nobody knows your full set of numbers, and (b) no pattern can be discerned among them.

Evidently someone broke the street date for elemental, so its being released today, according to that quote to pre orders & beta testers. And i was engaged in wishful thinking when i started this.

I pre ordered on thurs. and havent received anything, but am sure somethign will pop up today. The good news for me is i am in the Pacific time zone, so mid day for east coasters is at worst late morning for me.
