[WW] - The Fast Action! Room - Game Over!

Post by stessier »

I think we might have enough dead people to start a quick game while the other one finishes. This game will be completely vanilla, so if the other game finishes soon, people should be able to play this and another game without getting too confused. I'm really just interested to see how the changes to the voting effect things, if at all.

If we don't get enough people or if Lassr wants to run BSG before this, that's fine.

I will take 10 Villagers.

Rules
There will be 1 Seer and 2 Wolves. No other powers. Start during the day after the unfortunate death of Mr. Itwas N Tme.
  • Wolves
    • Can PM at Night only
    • Wolf 1 responsible for submitting Night kill. Wolf 2 takes over after Wolf 1 bites it.
    • PM text - You are Wolf X. GRRRrrrrr.
    Seer
    • Each night submits Villager to scan.
      • Result is Wolf or Human
    • PM Text - You are the Seer. Go find you some Wolves!
    Villagers
    • PM Text - You are along for the ride and it's going to be a bumpy trip.
Voting
  • Nominate someone for a vote using the Accuse tags like so  Nominee.

  • Once a Villager has been nominated, everyone must vote on the Nominee using Lynch or Save like so
     Lynch

     Save

    • No other nominations can be made until the current nomination is resolved
    • The Nominee can vote.
    • Votes may be changed up until a majority (1/2N+1) is reached in either direction, at which point the vote is closed.
    • If Saved, the Nominee can not be nominated again on that Day.
    • If Lynched, Village will learn Wolf or Human.
The Day will continue until there is a Lynch or everyone is Saved.

Not a problem at all!

Anyone else who's playing and wants to play in this one should feel free as well. It is rumored that during the Golden Years of WW - before there was a separate forum for the games - there could be up to 3 games going on at once. Has the Wheel finally turned us back to that time? Will the likes of Silky, triggercut, and Bakhtosh be spun out soon?

go for it. I'll be in Tampa until Saturday so no time to start a game or play unless this game starts next week then you can put me down to play.

I like the voting idea. It'll be interesting to see how folks find ways to use and abuse it. :)

I'd be insane if I tried to join another game currently, so I'll be a spectator on this one. Have fun!

Any comments about my current level of sanity will be cheerfully ignored. :D

For the record, this is almost the way facetoface werewolf plays. Nominate and Second, then vote. Wolves are only allowed silent communication at night (pointing, nodding, shakinng head for negation). As my phone issue has been resolved, I will play.

Hmmm, interesting. I think I had blocked out the part of a Second to the nomination. I think it might make more sense in a verbal game, though, so I'm going to leave that out this go around and see what happens.

I will change the wolf communication, though, so it is night time only. That should make things a more interesting.

It's twice in the same day. They can be nominated the next day. Gives a certain strategy to what to do to the nominated person. :)

Why remus? Because of our long history. It's day one and it is always funnier to have him die before me. He feels the same way, I assure you. The snarky "ha-ha" face to face is ever present. Do you imagine I have heard the last over the BSG game as Cavil, trying to win With Humans and failing? Oh no. It will come up every time I ever play Cavil again in our gaming groups. So my educated response is "because he's playing". ;)

I have to say I find it an intriguing concept to whack Remus because, A) It would be funny, B) Remus is evil, C) he is acting slower than JimDave in January, and D) I guess I can't get over it being funny

Kill Remus

Ok, how the hell do you guys get your kill and save orders to look the way you do?!

That puts us at either N-2 or N-1 depending on if Semaj's post is technically a lynch order.

At least if I'm counting correctly.
