I'm really disappointed my vote won't get anywhere this game because I just know is pulling our strings. :(

To be fair, the night 0 kill is a tough choice. I mean, do they kill "good guy whose role they don't know" or "good guy whose role they don't know", or possibly kill "good guy whose role they don''t know." It's not an easy choice.

El Guapo, that is what I'm saying. Remus is available to kill, so it is not a hard choice. Talk to the rest of your team of bad guys and get this done please. Thanksomuch.

Well, I had few choices.
  • Post something innocuous and vague which would get me lynched.
  • Post some strategy or analysis which will be reconstructed by someone which will get me lynched.
  • Not post anything which will get me lynch.
  • Announce I am evil AGAIN which will get me lynched.
  • Post the role so I won't be lynched and since no one would believe I would be stupid enough to do that and therefore I will survive to Day Two!! HA HA.

You slowly open your eyes.

Then, you close them again as the brightness of the dawn pierces into your brain.

It has been a long night. You hardly slept at all. You finally collapsed in exhaustion in a corner of the castle's courtyard, with nothing more than a stone for a pillow.

As you stretch and try to force your mind back into gear, the events of the previous night coming crashing back to you. So, it wasn't a dream, after all.

Suddenly, you hear a scream from high above. You race up the stairs and hurry along the castle wall to where a group of startled people have gathered.

You look down on a body lying motionless on the ground. You glance around at the onlookers. You still cannot make out their features. However, you have no trouble at all recognizing the features of the body on the ground. You know his face, even though it is presently a deep shade of blue.

Newcastle is dead.

You bend down to look closer at something strange swirling around Newcastle's neck. At first, it appears to be several nonsensical rune-like symbols. You are just about to turn away, when the runes suddenly form into a word that jumps into your mind. You're not sure what it means, but that word is Villager.

Possibly wrong. He could have been DPR or another Pirate which would amount to the same as Evil in the long run thing for us.

QANTAGA: for verification, if Inigo scans Rugen or vice versa, the kill happens the same time as that scan? If DPR finds a pirate, he does not get an option to kill as well that night if these are true, then Humperdink did not convert unless Inigo or Rugen found each other.

Yes, If Inigo scans Rugen or vice versa, the kill will occur immediately (the same time as the scan).
Chaosraven wrote:If DPR finds a pirate, he does not get an option to kill as well that night

This is also correct. The Fleet will be activated, but they will not be able to kill until the next night.

Given that the factions are called "Good", "Evil", and "Pirate", I stand by my statement.

With one possible exception: Qantaga, if Inigo scans Rugen (and accordingly kills him), would the resulting write-up reveal Inigo? Would it reveal that the now-dead person was evil (or for that matter was Rugen)?

Depending on the answers it may be possible that Humperdink was blocked by Fezzik, and Inigo found Newcastle-Rugen. Highly unlikely, but possible.

If Inigo kills Rugen or vice versa, the resulting write-up will only reveal the OO player who was killed and their alignment. Inigo will not be revealed, neither will Rugen.

In essence, the write up will only tell that a dead body was found and the alignment of the dead body.

In your example, if Rugen is killed, it will not specifically name him as Rugen. It would reveal that the body was evil.

Even though you did not put a color to this part, I thought it was important to address this it to avoid any confusion. "Good" is indeed the name of a faction. However, what is revealed on death is "Villager," Evil," or "Pirate."

I know it's essentially a quibble, but there are reasons for that distinction.

The possible runic words are Villager/Evil/Pirate.

Those are the only three possible alignments that will be revealed upon death.

as an Unlinked Pirate, even DPR shows as Villager. After the Fleet sails, linked Pirates would 'Pirate'. So it is interesting to me the little discussion between our colleagues...

So Unagi and Remus are aware of the Pirate rules. Newcastle could have been DPR alone, or one of the unfound Daft Plank.
