Re: OOWL Game 4 - Less than 31 hours to lynch

Post by Isgrimnur »

I was on the Grund train on Day 1. I haven't gone back to it because I wanted to see where the day would take us. And into mime territory seems to be the answer.

I'm not a wolf, I'm you wife ... wait, wrong line.

Anyway, I'm not a wolf.

And since there seems to be little action or chance of things going another way, let's get this night underway and see if we can finish this up before the turkey gets cold.

It might have something to do with me voting early to kill an actual wolf. Something you didn't do.
Pointing out positioning invalidates the defense. :P

I hope you guys are right.

If I were a wolf, the write-up would be simple. Right?

and if you were innocent it would be simple as well.

Am sure the delay is due to him being on diaper duty or something fun and family centric exciting.

Kids got home from school and suddenly was the center of attention. I'm sure I will look back on the moment in 10 years with great fondness and happy 80s music playing in the background, but it was slightly annoying at the time. :)

You guys lynched Grund?!? How could you!?! Just because Isgrimnur decided that "push came to shove?" That's a good reason? He wasn't willing to pull the trap door switch before purge posted, but after McNutt's name gets thrown into the mix, he's all like "Yeah, Grund is a great idea!!!"

Well, "any port in a storm", "even a blind pig finds a truffle once in a while", and "alls well that ends well" I guess, but the Village's collective "Meh" to the lupine plague is the sign of a deeper and more serious threat.

Grund is clearly a Wolf.

The Villagers WIN! (kinda)

With the scourge of the lycanthropes removed, the Village settled into a new routine - lounging around and having yawning contests.

Turns out the Werewolves had been "farming" the Village for years (and were shocked when they finally pulled it together enough to notice) and without their influence, there was no motivation to do even the simplest things like cleaning, bathing...or tending the crops. The Village uprising had occurred during Harvest season, so within weeks the crops had rotted in the fields and, shortly thereafter, everyone died of starvation.

The End.

You were Lassr's execution choice for night one, theohall. But when I (gently!) suggested Qantaga after a re-read, he deferred to me. Thus did I lead us to our doom. :)

Yeah, I was too passive. the deadline was looming a few hours away and the family was waiting on me to start watching the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

Oh, hey... almost missed this.

Congratulations on a nice win for the village. I'd like to take some credit, but all I did was help lynch Remus. :(

Thanks for covering for me.

Very nicely done, all, especially theo.
