I was prettty amazed they tied it up in the final minute though. But yeah, 41-41 isn't a great defensive effort.

All I'll say is that after the morning debacles, the average score is 6. Six points.

At least the Bears won...

I have 7 points. I would've done better by randomly selecting teams.

Scores so far... Several folks have 7 for the week, and JC Anejo IM has three, having managed to pick and lock CHI and DAL correctly. And nothing else. I SALUTE YOU, SIR. Average is 11.46.

Then there's UJ, with 23. WTF.

Who is this UJ person and should we all get together and beat him down for fixing the NFL?

Mitma's Uncle. I have no idea how this happened. He finished 41st last year and had 1 point in the playoffs in 2011, his first year of participation. Perhaps his high score is confirmation that the league is, in fact, fuct up?

Well, if this week's games don't spur a speedy resolution to the referee lockout, nothing will.

We had one player with 3 points who earns the Dumbass award one week after earning Top Dog (well done, JC!), an average score of 11.54 for the week, and a new leader with a commanding 8-point hold on first place (how you did this on *this* week, UJ, I don't know).

But hey, Green Bay and Detroit lost what should have been gimmes and the Bears won. Life is good. Although I suppose you could make a strong argument that in both cases, they *were* gimmes--from the referees to the opponents of the Packers and Lions.

Mailbox is open for Week 4 picks. Please verify your Week 3 scores and report any issues by kickoff of Thursday night's game.

pffft. Stl was supposed to be about where they are. Ari was supposed to suck completely and are 3-0. Jac, well, they are simply the most messed up team in the NFL right now. God I hope the Lions don't play them as that would be all it took for them to snap out of it. :(
