I was trying to figure out what he meant be "Fed 1st start", thought it was some kind of different lineup.

Looks like we still need to round up Tommy and LM. I guess it would have helped if I sent them the invite.

I think I'm going to go with standard tires.

Also, Coop, you are a genius. Thanks for setting up the map again. Can we get the gear chart on there somewhere? That is extremely helpful.

Issy, thanks for being willing to run again. I am looking forward to this. :D

I'll go with

7 Tires
4 brakes
4 gearbox
2 engine
2 body
1 shock

and soft tires for that extra little speed boost.

I meant to check the rulebook last night but forgot. Remind what soft tires mean:
  • optional +1 to all rolls
  • 2 tire damage per space on overshoots
  • must use pits
Is that right? Anything else?

There are rain effects as well, but there's no rain in the forecast.

You can forego the pits after a lap, but you would lose the +1 bonus on lap 2.

Now I see how risky soft tires really are. For the record I am not copying El G, I simply came to the same conclusion.

Tires 5
Brakes 5
Gearbox 4
Body 3
Engine 2
Shock 1

Soft Tires.
