FAQ & RULES

TIME LIMITS - - I dont plan on having time limits, but if the game starts to grind down I'll put some in play. I will note I am a proponent of letting players figure things out, but if I need to step in I will. I'll use my own discretion when this should happen.

How time limits could work-I'll usually give between a 48-96 hour window. IE on day 1 i could hint at a time limit coming down the pike, on day 2 I could give a 24 warning that its happening, then on day 3 officially give a 2 day warning. Or I could just say you have 4 days before the time limit is hit. OR i might say you have 48 hours from now.

- IF a time limit is reached a lynch will only occur if a majority is reached, otherwise you enter the night phase without a lynch occurring. So yeah a skip is possible.

NIGHT KILL - Wolves do not learn the role of their night kill.

Rule updates
Thought I’d update the rules to include some of the unwritten ones…mainly since I am sure scoop will be rusty.
-NO edits allowed. If you want to edit your post, quote it, then edit it in the new post leaving the original intact. View it as having said something verbally, you cant take it back.
-Dead people tell no tales. Basically no posting once dead. Exceptions are made for smileys, winky’s or binkys.
- When the final vote is cast on a lynch, its irrevocable.

More as I think of it.

PROLOGUE -

“BOOM!” the cannon thundered from the deck of the Flying Octopi, Lassr stood quickly and swiveled the ship’s canon. “Another shot, load another shot”. He screamed while Remus West grabbed the brush and cleaned the canon and quickly recharged it. Next to him Qantaga was manning another canon and fired off a shot that punched a gaping hole through the fort’s walls.

Up ahead, Theohall braced himself as he saw the canon’s fire from the Flying Octopi’s canon. The canon ball had blasted the stones making a gap appear. “We’re through, we’re through” Theohall shouted. At his shout the men piled through the rubble of the stone walls.

Mr. Bubbles was the first through, saber in hand he plunged it into the first defender and kicked him back, then smoothly finding the next defender. Lagom Lite was right behind him a quick chop bringing another defender down.

Another blast of canon fire from the Flying Octopi created another breach and the other flank of the crew rushed through. Holman leaped through this gap pistols in hand searching for targets, with two quick shots two more defenders went down.

As the men streamed through the broken walls they split up. All knowing where they needed to go; some went to the Earl’s quarters, others to the throne room and most importantly the treasure room, the fabled treasure room, the reason for all of this.

BB2112 surged into the barracks hopping to catch any guards rousing to respond to the surprise attack. Inside he saw one starting to grab his musket. “Wrong choice lad”, he spit then fired his musket. Through a corridor RMC ran and as he turned a corner a guard lunge at him, with a quick move he kicked the guard off balance and ran him through with his saber.

Into the throne room the others went and there they found what they had come for. The Earl stood tall before them and behind him the chests which contained the gold they had come to plunder. The earl backed up, “Stay away. Stay Away I say or you’ll die.” He screamed, musket aiming between the interlopers.

“Relax there matey, just back off, give us the treasure and you’ll live.” Scoop calmly spoke.

“It’s mine not yours ya shit. Away I say.” The Earl snarled.

“I don’t think you understand something. You have no choice in the matter. The gold is ours!” El Guapo said.

“Be gone or face the wrath…..” screamed the Earl.

“Lad do you not see what is before you.” Truicy replied, and pointed to Vorret & Proner standing next to him their muskets trained on the Earl.

“There is no choice here, you have until three.” El Guapo said.

The Earl stared back, defiant.

“One….” Truicy started

“Two….” Vorret continued

“Three….” Proner finished.

With that three muskets sounded and the Earl’s body slammed up against the wall. He stood there, eyes alight with a devilish flame.

“I might die, but I curse you. Three muskets you shot. Three of you shall be cursed now. Three will be mine and tear you apart. The treasure you might have but know that three of you will destroy you in my name. Three of you are mine. Three of you will slay you all and then what is mine shall be returned. This treasure is MINE!” As he said that his wrists slapped forth and black tendrils of smoke shot through the room and out. Each member of the band watched the smoke disappear and when they looked back at the Earl all they saw were blanched bones and a grinning skull.

Kinetic Kid shrugged. “Curse this.” He said, as he started to unbuckle his pants to relieve himself on the former Earl. Then his body tightened, hands shot up to his throat, his eyes clenched, then black smoke formed around his nostrils and lips, pushing in each orifice then his body let go and he dropped dead.

The crew stood around, looked at the skeleton, the dead Kinetic Kid and then the chests. Each knowing two things: one less share had to be given and the curse had to be broken?

So are the wolves possessed humans, or spirits, or what? Seems like it should be pretty easy to identify which people around here are spirits if so.

Newcastle, excellent write up!

[piratevoice]Yar, thanks ta a few scurvy dogs we now have a curse ta contend with. But cannit really be a curse when we are finally rid o' that scallywag, Kenetickid? Just one day out ta sea with the pompous gasbag is enough ta drive a man ta drink himself ta oblivion. I for one am glad the bilge rat is finally dead.[/piratevoice]. Walks over, spits on Kenetickid's corpse, then starts running his hands through the pile of gold. Sooo shiny...

Couldn't they pretend to hit the wall then ?

We are the pirates who don't do anything
We just stay at home and lie around
And if you ask us to do anything
We'll just tell you
We don't do anything.
If we shadows have offended, think but this and all is mended
That you have but slumber'd here while these visions did appear
