I'm starting to wonder if you might be onto something. This is reminding me of theohall's epic engagements that usually turn out to be between two innocents.

FWIW I do remember the last Star Wars WW game I was in, where I as Jabba (when the empire was the "village") pegged Newcastle with my Jabba-scan and announced that when I got my scan results. I recall Newcastle went down swinging hard then. So it's possible that this is that again.
i cant help what you think...but reason i am reacting so strongly...is well i just dont like being framed and it will elad to a loss for us, or put us in a fricking impossible position.

I really feel like i've foudn the smoking gun here, and i get put down because of a "gut feel train". Kind of jacked up if you ask me.

Also lassr's BA post ticked me off...kind of like him rubbing my nose in the fact that he knew i was good, but knew he was getting away w/ this train on me.

Now that you mention it, I remember redrun catching Newcastle red-handed in Lassr's card game (I had a protection in that game and guessed wrong) and NewcastleWolf went off in that game, as well. And, I've seen highly emotional good Newcastle, too. (He and tru1cy are the ones that drive me crazy by self-voting, even when they are good).

My problem, though, is that I'm not reading Newcastle as evil in this game. Plus, the fact that my two most likely wolves, Lassr and Lagom, are now both on Newcastle make me almost certain that Newcastle is our last miss.

Ugh, less than three hours.

What happens if we go into night and havent lynched anyone? How far back does it set us?

Tomorrow:
9 alive
Majority 5

1 shot
8 alive
majority 5

A bit of more room to move. But still facing long odds, unless we nab a wolf today. We also lose El G's protection.

it gives us another game day to debate who to lynch but provides no new info to the equation.

That's a good catch.

Especially, since redrun and I and Lassr (and probably others) have been very clear on the topic.

Lassr caught another significant inconsistency, too.

Is NewcastleWolf really that careless? I would think a wolf would know the state of the game inside out and take great pains to avoid such blatant inconsistencies.

Still, though, I would think it hard for NewcastleVillager to be so disengaged as to be that inconsistent.

I'm almost thinking we should just let time expire and start over...

but the other part of me wants to get this moving in some direction win or lose.

Here's the problem. We have four "players" in this game. One of them is El Guapo. So, unless Qantaga, Lassr, and Newcastle are the three wolves, there is at least one "silent" wolf and probably more.

Lagom and tru1cy are barely here.
Chaos has his wall of text day, but that's it.
Moliere and Scoop are popping in and out.
Redrun is gone.

If I had any hope that we could get participation tomorrow (game day), I would agree with letting the day end.

As it is, I'm starting to wonder if the wolves have adopted a strategy of minimalism.

I will crawl into a hole and cry and become a hermit. I'll say sorry, you'll say sorry, we apologize to the good guys and hug it out.

Honestly, we can take the blame for losing the game and move on to the next one.

I dunno. Right now if there is going to be an alternate target I do not think it can come from us because a lot believe I am evil and will not believe my alternate pick and a lot believe you are evil and will not believe your alternate pick...

We have been the most active which also may just make us look the most guilty because there is more to nitpick over. I have sat at my desk all day wondering if I have really fucked up but whatever...

El Guapo should come in and name the target even if it is not you even though he is voting for you now. I kind of trust Chaos also so should be do Scoop?

But I am out of time in 30 minutes.

this kind of struck me also w/ El G's statement that its a mighty battle between 2 villagers. We have been flapping our jaws like no tomorrow.

You know, I thought I had a secret plan for tomorrow if we missed today but the rules frakked it up.

SO we miss today, and Greedo shoots tomorrow thus revealing him. We run Greedo up to N-2 and then I was going to coming screaming for everyone to back off immediately. My plan was that Boba would put in his block on the Greedo lynch and then we back off and try to find one of the other imperials thus foiling the block...but Boba can change his mind and re-submit his block at anytime so never mind.

It's not clear in the rules but that is the rule.

And I will say to Newcastle that you have done an admirable job today making me rethink my position. I cannot get past the first few days though but if you are indeed evil then kudos to you today for the hard work at looking good with a few minor flaws (i.e. the El Guapo withdraw timing). It seemed it like a reach on your part but that could also be from a desperate villager trying not to lose the game.

We'll see...

With Newcastle's withdrawal, I can't imagine that consensus will be reached on Lassr, so it's an empty vote.

If not Lassr, I would prefer Lagom.

Since Lagom's silence has apparently painted him good, it is unlikely he will garner any serious attention.

That leaves Newcastle as the only seemingly viable candidate.

However, Moliere was my number three after I read through the entire game again yesterday. I have him higher than Newcastle as a threat. I'll join Scoop:
