First question to everyone.

What do you think about Colston's power?
If Colston is killed (through any method) he will resurrect exactly two night/day cycles after his death. He resurrection will be announced in the main game thread at the beginning of the day. If he is killed at night, that night will count as the beginning of the two night/day cycle. If he is killed during the day, the next night will count as the beginning of the two night/day cycle. This power will only work once. During Colston's death he will not count towards any victory conditions.
Is two two night/day cycles too long a wait? Should it be one night/day cycle?

I haven't gamed it out balance wise, but I'd be inclined to have it be one day. Two day/night cycles is probably half the game, right? Unless Colston dies early on two day / night cycles may mean that he does not get revived before the game is over. Also my guess is that the Colston player is probably going to wander off before then.

Question: if Agent May targets a player, does that prevent Agent Ward from taking that player's place if they are targeted by the wolves?

Agent May will block ANY action so yes she would block Ward's attempt to take the target's place. However, since the target will not be killed in the first place due to May's protection I don't think his power will come into play in this scenario. Am I missing something El Guapo?

I was also thinking about Quinn's gun, as May's protection does not extend into the day, and Ward can replace the victim of a vote or "assassination." I was thinking of the gun as a form of assassination, though it strikes me now that it may just mean night kill.

Can Ward take the place of someone who is killed by Quinn's gun?

Yeah, I was calling Night Kills as Assassinations.

Yes, Ward can take the place of someone that Quinn shoots as Quinn dies from majority vote dies. Interestingly, Quinn could be a night kill/assassination too. I will add some language to describe how the night kill/assassination is handled by MFOE.

Realistically, are we going to hit reasonable minimum participation numbers? Seems like WW games aren't flying off the OO shelves these days.

Is there a WW mailing list of past participants that can be used to advertise this game?

I just have not been in the mood for a game. The break has been nice plus I'm rather busy with life right now with work and soccer.

LOL.

I haven't started banging the gong just yet. I'm willing to wait a bit to see if people get back into the mood to play. I really think this will be a fun rulez set and once the regulars get the time or are back in the mood then I will go into "advertise" mode. We just don't seem to be at that point yet.

It could also be people just don't want to play this game too. I'll be patient and wait to see what happens.

Ya know I've thought about this for a while now, but I think there's a general burnout overall w/ WW games. The games have been lagging in new recruits, drawn out pace at times (which i think contributes to the burnout, where no one is really doing anything in game) and have suffered disinterest in the last couple of years. So not sure what to advise you, but I think that you're facing those problems in trying to drum up interest in this one.

You can always go through past games and send out PM's to folks who's played in the last few years. And yes, before you ask...I'm still on hiatus.
