Should sell for 4 (3 for the tobacco +1 for the small market).

Your turn to choose. :)

Question... what happens when you have no space left for plantation and someone picks settler?

Okay, that's as straightforward as it gets :)

Next question... if I move a noble to the land office, when I sell a plantation, is it random or can I pick the one I want to sell?

Okay,
Mayor, move noble from market to land office, colonist from land office to market.
New colonist to tonacco storage and the incoming noble to coffee farm I guess, doesn't really matter!

Just to clarify: the boat brought 8 colonists and 1 noble. So...

Vo receives 1 bonus colonist from supply, 1 noble, & 1 colonist.
Mo receives 2 colonists.
El receives 2 colonists (+1 noble via villa)
Re receives 2 colonists.
Ni receives 1 colonist.

Please clarify your placement orders.

It looks like Vorret still has the bonus colonist to place. In the meantime I will take Craftsman.

Vorret: you have an idle worker and open spaces. You may place him in one of the following locations:
Sugar farm west.
Sugar farm east.
large indigo plant.

Please let me know.

Through the power of prayer, El Guapo and Nick each earned a VP in that crafting turn.

Capacity: one crate for each ordered pair of (x-farm-worker, x-factory-worker).

You have exactly two coffee-factory-workers. So, by definition, you cannot produce more than two crates no matter how many coffee-farm-workers you have.
To exploit that third manned coffee farm, you'd need a third coffee roaster worker. And since each coffee roaster holds no more than two, you'd need a second coffee roaster-- which is prohibited by the rule against duplicate buildings.

Ergo, there's never a point to manning more than two coffee farms.

The privilege adds, to your maximum production, one more crate regardless of your capacity.

Does that help?

You produce 1 unit for each matching pair of farm worker & production facility worker (or, for corn, each farm worker). Based on this, your production is as follows:

2 coffee
1 sugar
3 indigo

Your privilege allows you to take, in addition to your production capacity, one additional crate of good from the types that you produced this turn.

So, in addition to what you produced above, you can choose to take 1 bonus crate of coffee, sugar, or indigo.

Then why was I told I couldn't have the coffee? Unless there was some confusion about my original request. I wanted 2 coffee from production and 1 from privilege.

Right. I read Moliere's remark to mean that he thought he was capable of producing 3 coffee naturally, and that he wanted a fourth coffee as his privilege. So I corrected that misconception.

So when you said "3 coffee +1 for privilege", what you meant was "3 coffee (including +1 for privilege)"? That sheds light. In any case, I think we're all on the same page.

Just a reminder: we'll run out of colonists and nobles soon, but the game will not end at that juncture (as it would without the Nobles expansion). The game will end when someone fills his city with buildings or when the VPs in supply are depleted.

Was thinking I started with 6 but now that you say 5 I remember the 6 was based off my projections for this round before I made errors last round. In any event I have the 10 I need. :)
