I'd just like to point out the obvious - if someone other than Rev used the gas last night, they should definitely be calling him out.

Perhaps asking for discussion was too much.

I think I like Moliere again.

Scoop's Inhumans - Game has begun

Post by Scoop20906 »

The group surrounded Moliere as he sipped coco on the pillow fort's dock facing the Bay of Biscae.

"Hey Moliere, we think you are the Unspoken One", announced BB2112.

"Whateva, bro." responded Moliere. He's nonchalante

"So, you know, we need to do something about that.", comments Vorret. He's nonchalante.

"Yeah, bro." responded Moliere. He's even more nonchalante.

"This is getting us nowhere!" shouts RMC and shoves Moliere off the dock and into the piranha infested bay.

"Bro! That was not nonchalante!" screams Moliere as the flesh is stripped from his bones.

Night Four
Transform (convert) one player to Inhuman
Scan for Terrigen Mist canister
Steal the Terrigen Mist canister
Night Five
Transform (convert) one player to Inhuman
Scan for Terrigen Mist canister
Steal the Terrigen Mist canister
Night Six
Kill one player
Scan for Terrigen Mist canister
Steal the Terrigen Mist canister

I think this means we automatically lose. If the Inhuman can covert once a night, and we can only kill once a day, eventually the numbers are going to be even. Even if we are right every time from this point forward. Scoop, is this right?

Moliere
RevHempus71
Vorret
RMC
Stessier
bb2112 - Human

Scenario 1
Current - 4 Good / 1 Bad
Night Convert - 3 Good / 2 Bad
Day Kill Good guy - 2 Good / 2 Bad

Game Over

Scenario 2
Current - 4 Good / 1 Bad
Night Convert - 3 Good / 2 Bad
Day Kill bad guy as long as it is the UO - 3 Good / 1 Bad
Night Kill - 2 Good / 1 Bad
Day - have to get last bad guy

Still have a shot

Scenario 3
Current - 4 Good / 1 Bad
Night Convert - 3 Good / 2 Bad
Day Kill bad guy not the UO - 3 Good / 1 Bad
Night Convert - 2 Good / 2 Bad

Game Over

Ok, we have 1 chance, and it is not a very good one. We have to kill the OU tomorrow or it is game over. Even if we do, it is a long shot to nail the convert.

RevHempus71 - Bot?
Vorret
RMC
Stessier
bb2112 - Human?

So tomorrow, it will still be the 5 of us, just one of us will now be a bad guy. So my proven status, and Rev's semi proven status, doesn't mean anything. The good news (?) is we have to nail the UO or it is game over, so that means I am out of that pool. If Rev is spoofing, he did a great job and deserves to win. That leaves:

Vorret
RMC
Stessier

As our remaining suspects for UO. 33% chance going off of straight odds.

It's not that bad. There are going to be 2 pools - 1 for converts, 1 for UO. The pools will be very, very small. We still have a shot!

He can't be spoofing. If he is, that means someone took a hit of the smoke last night and didn't speak up. So he's the guy that used the smoke. Now he could totally be a convert spoofing being the bot, in which case we lose tonight. Also in that case, it means RMC was the UO as Rev was happy to follow my vote and that's the only place I didn't go.

All true. I didn't bother with Rev being a convert and spoofing because it would be game over and there is no point.

I agree with your point also that the 3 in question of being UO have 50/50 odds straight up of nailing the UO. I have a 33% chance. :D

I've got to admit, if you are, you are doing a great job. I also kind of like this Bot role. It makes me smile whenever I read a Rev post. Although, if the shoe was on the over foot and I was the Bot, I would probably be swearing a lot. So much to say and I can only repeat everyone else, yeah, that would be frustrating. Sorry Rev, it is not me though, so it is amusing.

More food for though.

Tonight one of the 3 RMC/Vorret/Stessier will die. One of BB2112 and Rev will be converted.

To do anything else increases the Villages odds of winning exponentially.

I don't think there is a night kill, only a conversion. See below.

Night One

Kill one player
Scan one player for their potential role (what they will become after using the Terrigen Mist)
Night Two
Kill one player

Steal the Terrigen Mist canister

It you or Rev are not converted, that means the UO and Convert are in stessier/RMC/Vorret. That is a slam dunk for whoever is left a good guy in the group and gives you and Rev a huge chance of guessing right. It also buys us another day if you only hit the Convert and not the UO.

Well then, ignore the last post. One of bb2112 and Rev will be converted then. Really we have a 50/50 chance while shooting in either barrel, but we need to nab the UO.
I think Rev or I will most likely be converted, but it is not a slam dunk. There is some iocane powder floating around.
It you or Rev are not converted, that means the UO and Convert are in stessier/RMC/Vorret. That is a slam dunk for whoever is left a good guy in the group and gives you and Rev a huge chance of guessing right. It also buys us another day if you only hit the Convert and not the UO.
True but we won't know that... in any case we need to hit either the convert or the UO tomorrow

We won't, but we know the UO is in stessier/Vorret/RMC. We need to take him out, so that's where we look tomorrow. To put two bad guys in a group of 3 does nothing to help the UO.

What if you are converted? We guess right on (just to use Vorret as an example) Vorret being the UO. Now at night, you kill me. That leaves you(convert), RMC, and Rev. How does that make anything any easier?
That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.
