So is there any real strategy to the day 1 choice. Seems like the only real decision on day 1 is whomever has the canister can choose to spray themselves or not. For the rest of the village, it's pick someone at random right?

With that said, big money big money no whammies and.... STOP!

Purge - can you reduce the size of that picture? Throws off the formating.

Scoop -
Note: Every time a player is converted a message will be announced by the mod that it has occurred but will not announce what side performed the conversion.
Say that X has the cannister, decides to use it on himself, and he becomes inhuman. Will you announce anything? And if so is it the standard boilerplate from above?

- if X uses the cannister and becomes a human special or even in human, what happens to the cannister?

-what's the advantage of the UO gaining the mist over humans? I thought i saw you state that there would be an additional conversion, i cant seem to find that in the rules?

To all - What's everyones thoughts on how to use the cannister?
Should whoever has it just use it on everyone else and kill themselves? Or should they use it on themselves and then hope for the best.

To state the obvious - its gonna be hard as hell to find the UO out of how many are here right now. Kind of like picking a needle in a haystack? We're gonna have to be real, real lucky if we dont use the cannister.

Honestly - i'm of the opinion that whoever has the cannister should use it on everyone, even if it means sacrificing their life.

There's arguably some benefit to taking individual huffs, in that odds are we get the canister benefits (i.e. odds are each night we add a special) without the spraying everyone drawback of having someone automatically die (if not converted).

Also in case it's not clear any spraying (individual or group) has to happen at night.

Also, I asked this before, but I don't think I got an answer: when a human gets hit with the mist, do they roll on the chart of 10 results, or is everyone pre-assigned one of 10 results? Like, could we get 10 seers, 10 protectors, 10 inhuman converts, etc., or are we assigned 1 seer, 1 protector, etc.?

Good Catch.
Rulez wrote:1. Use the canister on yourself and be transformed with one of the results (see human). When the player is converted the Terrigen Mist canister will be passed to another human player before the next day starts. The Terrigen Mist canister will then be randomly and secretly passed to another human player. The Unspoken One can not use the Terrigen Mist canister on himself or on any one player. If the Terrigent Mist is used this way the moderator will announce "Everyone notices a funny smell. It seems someone has used the Terrigen Mist".
Note: If for any reason a human player with the Terrigen Mist canister is killed, the canister will be randomly (and secretly) passed to another human player. Inhuman's can not procure the Terrigen Mist canister this way.
Newcastle wrote:-what's the advantage of the UO gaining the mist over humans? I thought i saw you state that there would be an additional conversion, i cant seem to find that in the rules?
I removed that reference to the additional conversion. There is no additional advantage to the UO gaining the Terrigen Mist. He will automatically release the gas on all humans.

Pre-assigned individually, I take it? So still one person per result?

My dream result from this game is for it to end on day / night 1, as I would find that terribly amusing.

So with predestination we could be lynching a Seer, but he won't know it either.

Whatever Inhuman. It's day 1. There is nothing to discuss. El Guapo threw a dart at a list of names and we're following.

I'm so influential.

I need to think more about the best use of the canister, seeing as how that decision is coming up now that we're going into night. My gut instinct is to "puff and pass", though the early consensus seems to be "spray everyone" notwithstanding the guaranteed loss of a human.
