I read your last comment about following in others footsteps as a hint, but yes, you do.

So... that was an interesting jaunt. How's this likely to play out?

The gist: Robin scans Marian by night, earning them both the identity (but not role) of an evildoer. (Then, if they guess an evildoer's exact role, we lose a player?! Obviously, they should deliberately guess wrong, no?)

The mist: Sheriff scans Marian by night: she is arrested, Robin is thwarted, and the revelation of an evildoer to Robin and Marian is lost.

The twist: Azeem protects Marian by night: she cannot be arrested, so Robin's scan succeeds after all, and the revelation of an evildoer is salvaged.

If I'm grokking the rules aright, Robin and Azeem should converge on Marian in order to score a guaranteed successful scan.

Thoughts? Corrections? Misdirections?

So let's say

Initially, my thoughts were that it wouldn't, but seeing as that takes the place of a night kill, I think I have to go with the idea that it will.

So, Yes, Azeem's protection protects against arrest of Robin/Marian.

I am referring to everyone jumping on the stessier bandwagon with no discussion or pushback or anything.

Marian seems clear enough. It should go without saying that anybreal Marian should dispute Maid Morliere.

El Guapo emerges from his hut. "I've thought about it, and two people stand out as holding back from our lynch mob of Clayf... RMC. Grund and stessier seemed to hold back. Grund looked like a Confused Travolta, while stessier looked like Larry David. I'm going to flip a coin."

...

"stessier it is."

...

"Anyone?"

The village lines up behind El Guapo like he's giving away free chickens.

stessier backs away slowly from the gathering mob. "I'm a humble villager! See how humble I am?!? I'm humbler than all of you!"

The mob ignores his protestations and string him up. Once he ceases his twitching, they drag him down and ransack his pockets for loose change. In a hidden pocket, they find a card.

"Lifetime member - Sheriff of Nottingham Fan Club"

stessier was evil

It is night.

Azeem - send me your protection order
Baddies - send me your kill order
Robin/Sheriff/Mortianna - send me your scan targets

Scan target for Robin and the Sheriff. If Robin scans her, their roles are revealed to each other. The identity (not role) of one evil player is divulged to both.
Rules correction. Note the evil identification does not specify living/dead status. The entire evil team will be available for targeting. If dead, the couple will be given the role, if living, they will only get the team assignment.

Day 3 dawns.

A commotion was heard in the night, but fear drove the villagers to stay inside.

Once they emerge timidly into the daylight, they see the aftermath. A hut door has been kicked open, the contents destroyed, the occupant missing.

Nailed to the chapel door, the well, and every other communal space are announcement posters.

"Revhempus71 of Locksley has been arrested for high treason. He shall be tried and executed at sundown in two days' time. You are all invited to come and witness the exercise of justice.

With 7 players eligible that makes the majority at 4 votes?

Curious that Scoop managed to avoid voting for either RMC or stessier. He had an initial vote on RMC, but removed it when the train got rolling. Then he avoided scooping stessier.
