That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.

Incidentally, in the spirit of keeping a fast game moving, I'll be setting deadlines in the future.
However, since this is the start turn and some players might not yet realize we're live, I'll keep it loose.

Re: [WW] Danger Zone! (Archer) -- Day 1
Fade-in: an ISIS safehouse. Dimly lit, sparsely furnished, needing maid service. Actually the back room of a bordello in the sleaziest arrondissement in Paris.
Bb2112 sat carefully on the edge of a soiled mattress, unwrapping a cheeseburger. He took a bite, frowned, and looked under the bun, shaking his head sadly.
Murky streetlamp haze flooded one side of the room as the outside door snicked open in a fumble of keys and lockpicks. Vorret slipped into the room, then rushed to the window to peer through Venetian blinds from an indeterminate decorating era. “I think I lost him,” he said.
“Lost who?” asked bb2112, brushing sesame seeds from his suit.
“I was followed. It was the weirdest thing. He looked just like… Well, just forget it. I lost him. How was Windsor?”
“Unsatisfying.”
There was a brief knock, then Chaosraven entered from the front of the establishment. “Are we all here?” he asked.
“Not yet,” answered Vorret.
Chaosraven looked twice at him. He pointed to the door by which he’d entered. “Didn’t I just see--?”
“No.”
“Fine. Listen. I'm supposed to meet Remus West. I have a message for him.”
All at once, from under a pile of bras on a desk at the side of room, a teletype machine burst into life. “ALL ISIS AGENTS,” it began, unwinding to the floor like a sinister Slinky, “CODE BLACK ALERT. ASSASSIN ACTIVITY DETECTED. KGB AND/OR ODIN INVOLVEMENT CERTAIN.”
“What the heck?” said bb2112, tossing the remains of his pseudo-cheeseburger into the wastebasket. “What is this?”
“ISIS AGENT ROSTER COMPROMISED. ANALYZE ALL IDENTITIES WITH EXTREME THOROUGHNESS. RETINAL AND FINGERPRINT SCANS POSSIBLY DUPLICATED.”
The agents gathered around, reading the tape, waiting for the worst. It wasn’t long in coming.
“AGENT UNAGI TERMINATED THIS AFTERNOON, 3 P.M. BERLIN TIME. EXERCISE CAUTION.”
Unagi is Dead!

Going back to the night protection, I believe I read that the protector could not protect themselves.

I would not go less than 10 days. 14 may be better. then decrease the days as the rounds progress.
