Agreed, most people have a reason to kill him first.

Except Grund, Lord Mortis and BB

Each counts as a Hero.
So out of 3 or 4, either set counts as two.

Unagi wrote:Could you just give us the description of how you go about making the field of specials?
So you say 2-3 Villains - but you describe Parasite and Joker interplay - and those 2 could indeed create a field of 4 villains, for instance.
If you rolled a Joker, do you count it as 2?
And to Stessier's point - if you rolled a Hawk and Wonder pair, would we be correct to assume that was our "4" Heroes, or could you have actually rolled 2 more?
Joker counts as One, despite the ability to create.
Just as Red Rocket counts as a Hero, despite the ability to switch.

I order the roles 1-whatever to Roll them up.
In a Hero listing, on the final Roll, I remove the pairs from the options. (so say it was five heroes, and I rolled four -or three if one was a set - times, the final roll would not include Pairings)
After getting the Roles, they are also randomly assigned.

The TBD Number of Villains and Heroes is decided randomly at the start from the Range announced.
"Where are you off to?"
"I don't know," Snufkin replied.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the above explanations.
Chaosraven wrote: The Number of Heroes will be: 3-4
The Number of Villains will be: 2-3
Does this mean we'll have 3 heroes and 2 villains unless a pair is rolled under each? Or could there be (e.g.) 4 non-paired heroes?

At Game Start:
It means there are either 3 or 4 heroes, and 2 or 3 villains.
Pairs would fall within those numbers and not expand them further.
Potential conversions (Harley, Rocket) would not be included in the Villains total.

Indeed. It's a bit of the day 1 doldrums. As others have said, the night kill doesn't really give us a ton of info to work with. Feels like the choices at the moment are either vote for someone with some connection to Remus (bb2112, RMC, etc.) or vote mostly randomly. Well, there's also the traditional third option, where everyone babbles for awhile until someone says something that sounds vaguely suspicious, like some sort of slip, at which point everyone votes for them and until they reveal that they are the seer.

Yeah, as much as the Scoop kill didn't make any sense it gave us something to work with, Remus is just a standard Day one kill, I like my vote on RMC and I suggest you guys jump on the train.

Seems like an important question, actually.

And I kind of agree with Guapo here. There's so very little to work with here.

How is that different than any Day 1 lynch? We randomly pick someone to lynch, at n-1 they claim special. Start again.
