There were 5 of us on the bandwagon, here's my quick read on each.
Me: I am not a wolf and I trust myself.
Zarathud: I get a wolfy vibe from him but with his latest post I feel like he is actually trying to figure things out. If he was a wolf I would think he would have tried to lay low since it's tax season.
Moliere: Proven good guy
RMC: Too quiet, and relatively quick to jump on the vote.
Holman: Has me convinced he is good... for now.

Lightning RMC train as the day 3 deadline approaches. Of note, Scoop plays a material role in getting this going, by giving RMC some verbal heat, then placing a significant vote, placing I think the third vote.

Also of note: of the fall guys, the wolves' first choice would be Zarathud (Boba Fett). Then probably PLW I would guess (since Vader can use his power as he's going down). RMC (Joruus) probably second-to-last or last as a fall guy, since his scan could be very useful (though you could debate whether having Dooku around at the end is maybe more valuable).

Maybe a little ballsy putting three wolves on Unagi (if Isgrimnur's a wolf), although with the deadline approaching could be a better choice than voting for me (say), which might look more nakedly like protecting RMC (or risking a no lynch).

Just for the record, this is at least the second time that a wolf RMC tried to hide behind the "I'm an unspecified non-special".

OK. Vorret has a provable claim. That's good. I suppose protecting him makes sense but what do we do tomorrow with him if he refuses to use his power then. Cross that bridge when we come to it I guess.

I'm switching my vote to tru1cy. We waited to long to do anything else realistically and there is still a chance he is an imp. Better than 0% chance.

Hmmmm. Scoop switches to tru1cy late. He could've plausibly kept riding Vorret and used that as credibility if a wolf. Although if we missed the lynch, might he be risking being seen as unhelpful / obstructionist? Although Unagi would've been a fine fall guy for that.
I only voted tru1cy because we had not point up against the deadline. He didn't seem like a Imp to me at the time.

Night 3 kill. Of note, given some of the surprising night kills, is that the wolves definitely did not scan a special with Joruus and base a kill on that. Our special roster was:

Lassr - Qui-Gon
Remus - Talon Karrde
Vorret - Mon Mothma
TBD (deceased) - Obi-Wan

Our lynches were Newcastle, tru1cy, Unagi, RMC. RMC was Joruus. Pretty certain that neither tru1cy nor Unagi were not specials since they would've spoken up. Possible that Newcastle was Obi-Wan, but if that's the case, then we know that Punisher was a regular villager. So if the wolves got a scan from the Newcastle lynch, then they used it on a regular villager (or, I suppose, possible that they scanned Vorret).

Actually I suppose there's a plausible scenario where Newcastle was Obi-Wan, wolves scan Vorret, and wolf Scoop pushes Vorret. Though knowing that Vorret was an innocent special, you'd think they would pick Zara Fett as the main driver of the Vorret train.

Three wolves left.

Among those, Scoop was the second vote (after Unagi) on RMC, getting that train going on day 3. Super unlikely that a wolf Scoop would do that when Unagi was under the gun, and RMC hadn't been getting much scrutiny up to that point. Plus Scoop dropped a big special hint last night, so...he's looking pretty good to me right now.

Subsequent RMC votes that day come from Chaosraven, then Remus, then Lassr (uncontested Qui-Gon). Lassr's vote puts RMC at n-2. Probably Chaosraven and Remus are also good - especially Chaosraven, who's vote (#3) is possibly the line between the RMC thing becoming a train and not. *Possible* that Remus's vote is a "which way the wind is blowing" kind of thing, but *probably* not (especially since Remus goes onto articulate a good case against RMC.

Maybe Isgrimnur, Holman, and TBD?
Ok, I've suspected Issy since day one but I have to wonder how chaos comes off looking good? He was one of the late votes on Unagi (including you) that along with the secret vote we found out later put him over the top. Only the baddies would have known the vote was over with. I realize we were close to the wire on that vote but there was still a chance someone could have counter him (and eventually did). Both you and chaos don't look very rebellious to me.

I probably should shut up tho.
I'm mainly talking about the RMC run up here. This was the situation when Chaosraven voted for RMC:
4 Unagi - Zarathud, Moliere, RMC, Holman
2 El Guapo - PLW, Lassr
3 Zarathud - Isgrimnur, Remus West
3 RMC - Archinerd, Unagi, Scoop,
I realize I made a mistake in my analysis of the RMC train - I hadn't realized that Archinerd was already on the RMC vote before the RMC train really got going, so Unagi was the second vote, you the third, Chaosraven the fourth, etc.

Why would a wolf Chaosraven vote for wolf RMC here? Voting for Unagi here wouldn't really have attracted much in the way of suspicion, while voting for RMC here really solidified the RMC train (and brought him to vote parity with Unagi). Hell, unless you think that both me and Zarathud are also wolves (which I know not to be true as to me at least) he's got at least two not-terribly-suspicious non-wolf vote choices at this point.

As for the late vote on Unagi - we're talking really late here. When you posted about "hey, we have some time here" we had about 30 minutes left before the deadline. I get that Lassr could have theoretically come in during those 30 minutes to dispute RMC, but we were coming super close to the deadline. I don't really fault CR (or me, obviously) for that.
Discussion with Scoop post RMC lynch. Still don't see his case against Chaosraven, although as I say here the timing of Scoop's RMC vote (which I initially thought was Chaosraven's in order) sure makes him look good.

That's my fear, anyway. Trying to figure out RMC's role before meetings today.
On the one hand, I would think that the Empire would want at least one or two wolves on the RMC lynch (especially Joruus, obviously). On the other, I would think that they would also want to give RMC a crack at convincing the village that Lassr was the impostor.
Thats true. Since we know RMC was an Imp (and not Jorus of course) then we can feel pretty confident that Jorus was on his lynch so that can get their scan tonight.

I'm betting one of these guys is Jorus:

Holman
El Guapo
Isgrimnur
Moliere - proven
Lassr - claimed special (not countered)
PLW

10 players - 7 Rebel vs 3 Imperial

If Lassr is telling the truth then the last 2 Imperials are in the Scoop/PLW/Isgrimnur mix. I lean towards Isgrminur and PLW being the two. I scanned Holman last night because he was the first to get a vote in on RMC so I thought he might be Joruus. Right now I'm hoping that RMC was Vader and simply did not have time to use his ability. His being Vader would explain the use of the over vote to make sure he lived through that day. I still think he was probably Dooku but Vader is possible.

If Vader is out there I expect to be choked. Obi-Wan, if alive, should compel one of the scanned (you chose) to vote for either Zarathud or one of the unscanned. I'd suggest Zarathud but before we do that we might want to check on the impact a failed lynch would have on the reward - that is, what happens when Boba uses his ability to avoid being lynched after Obi-Wan compels someone to vote for him.

PLW
Archinerd

So RMC was Jorus, then? That's helpful.
Jorus scan doesn't really immediate precede a kill or block. S'why I left him off.
Hmmm.

Scoop, on the first post, why did you say "we know RMC was an Imp (and not Jorus of course)"?

It is a poorly worded sentence. I think what I was trying to say was I had learned that their reason for targeting Punisher didn't involve the Jorus scan since they wouldn't have it at that point.

Scoop, this is the vote I was thinking of when I said you were absent from early important votes.

So being on all votes raises suspicion because they may be Joruus, and being on some but not all votes also raises suspicion because it's like Joruus only the person is trying to hide it?

With four baddies, there's space for multiple strategies. There's an awful lot of gray area in which to hide.

So...we're now current. That seems like all of the potentially probative posts - hopefully that's helpful to you too Archinerd. Archinerd, I'm interested in your thoughts, as well as any arguments that Isgrimnur and Scoop have to make.

FWIW I'm leaning towards Isgrimnur as the final wolf, though I do worry about the possibility of "disinterested civilian Isgrimnur". I'm also going to re-read my collection, maybe aim to vote tomorrow (IRL).

What's great is that we won't need to wait for the write up on this one - if we're right then the lynchee will have three votes, if we're wrong he'll have two.

I've answered the questions, made my case, and generally been a cooperative participant. Scoop has continued to bait and taunt me during the process, implying that I'm part of the Empire.

At this point, I'll just be happy to have it over. He's over there getting his confetti ready for excessive celebration.

For me the most compelling piece of evidence is Scoop pushing for Run JoruusMC when Unagi was under the gun and RMC hadn't attracted significant attention yet. Seems really unlikely that a wolf Scoop would do that, rather than let Unagi hang (or get a missed lynch), or maybe push for me (a tertiary suspect at that point). Isgrimnur has a vote for Zarathud (on day 3), to his record, but he abandons that for Unagi precisely once RMC is under threat. Plus you get a little less credit for that since Zarathud was clearly the designated wolf fall guy this game.

I don't have a good argument other than you two have been proven and I know my status. While I get that you don't, I'm not motivated to go looking for red flags. Meanwhile, scoop has been dancing circles around me, crying wolf.

His annoyance reads as genuine though, for what that's worth.

So at this point Scoop's unlikely to post much more for fear of upsetting things breaking his way (whether he's a wolf or not), while Isgrimnur is unlikely to post much more because he's annoyed (whether he's a wolf or not).

Tempted to just go ahead and vote but I do think it prudent to let things sit for a little bit, especially since we're not up against the deadline.

I've loved this game. So many fun and interesting things happened. Hell, our newbie Punisher made it super fun. I thought we were in trouble until Remus dropped the bomb. I still can't understand why Remus didn't scan me especially after Unagi pushed for my lynch early. Things would be far different for me at the end game if I was a proven so now I'm under the cross hairs but I'm not frustrated. I played game the best I could with the limited info I had. I could have made better decisions when looked in hindsight. I KNOW you guys are making the right choice if you vote for Issy cause I know I am good but other than go over my actions as El Guapo already did there isn't much more I can say.
