Are we really going to lynch the new guy on his first day?

Sweeeeeet

He gets it if he is in on the lynch of a wolf or "a Jedi." Jedi means *only* Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, yes? So a lynch on Mon Mothma or Talon Kaaarrrrde gets him nothing?
This is correct

1) Any way to keep the running score on the first page so we dont have to dig for it?

Editing a first page post would work. Editing once the game has begun is usually punished, but that should be acceptable.

No, as you would actually have voted that way.

The benefit of having the latest official tally appear in the text of the thread is that you can very easily move forward from that post and keep track of what's been added/removed from its totals.

Did anyone answer Question #2?

There can't be a tie. The lynch is locked in as soon as there's a true majority. (So with 18 players today we'll need 10 votes for a lynch.)

With a lynch today [game time] and a kill tonight, we'll start game-day 2 with 16 players, requiring 9 votes for a lynch.

Of course special abilities and protections can change the tally, so it's not unlikely that we'll start some morning with an odd number of players, but the true-majority rule holds at all times.

No, do not edit your post. If you want to post a new unofficial count that is up to you. I will allow them as long as they are not intentionally used to create mass confusion and are truly intended to help the game along. I will put a new official vote count out as soon as I have a little time.

I will not be putting the vote tally on this first page. I will put it in the thread at the time I do the tally so the players will see it as the vote count at that point in time. Doing it it in two places is just asking for errors and the resulting confusion. Sort of like posting a wrong unofficial vote tally. :P
