I get out of my cryopod wearing a tiny Sigourney Weaver tank-top and tiny Sigourney Weaver space panties.

Then I lather up my chin for a shave.

I love the opening write-up! Nicely done.

But I have a question:

12 players. 3-14 = 12 players... maybe 001 and 002 are missing for story reasons...

Its just flavor text for the backstory.

Pilot and Co-pilot's (001-002) cryo pods are incapacitated under strange circumstance so Divergent Corp decided to wake up the passengers (003-014) in hopes that can ensure the ship makes it to earth.

The players are the passengers. Pilot and Co-pilot aren't in the game.

I note that Archinerd is bothered by Holman being up but not his choice of sleepwear.

tru1cy rolls out of his cryo pod, "Ugh. My head. Where am I?"

El Guapo responds, "Ummm, I'm not sure. I think the ship is still in transit. We shouldn't have been thawed yet. That means somethings wrong."

"Uh guys, looks like the Pilot and Co-Pilot are both dead. Their cryo pods looks sabotaged." remarked Isgrimnur.

"That could happen to us. Someone is responsible and they have to be one of us." said Archinerd.

"Huh, looks like not all the cryo pods are open. Remus West is still in his pod. It says Locked Down. Don't you need to have special computer access to do that?" asked Holman.

"Yeah, you do." responded Lagom Lite. "We definitely have a saboteur with us."

"Not only that." remarked Vorret. "Check out the ships logs. It says the R.Scott touched down on planet XXB1A-55 where the hell that is. And it says they captured some type of organism. The logs end after. Nothing else."

"And I'll bet its the dangerous kind, probably looks human but has no soul and its only goal is our destruction." said Grundbegriff.

"Ok, its not all bad news guys. It seems the ship has changed course and we are only 6 days until we reach Earth." announced bb2112.

"But that means we have only 6 days to kill this thing and then we can decide what to do next." remarked bb2112.

"Then I guess we need to start voting." smirked Moliere.

Right, so here's the deal: I'm human. I won't say what faction or role, but I'm neither a symbiont nor the Alien. I might be infected, I guess. Someone probably is, since no one was killed - unless the alien and symbiont both targeted Remus West, and the symbiont lockdown occurs before the alien acts (is this the case?) OR Remus West is the alien and his cryopod was locked down before he could kill anyone.

Scoop, in what order do night orders occur?

Scoop, can the symbiont lock down his own cryopod? (If not, we know that Remus West is not the symbiont).

Some meditations from games of yore: My first game on OO I was the Alien organism, and even though the other players were totally on to me, I managed to win since the Marine and Convict factions suffered from infighting. Everyone was so sure that the other human faction was a bigger danger than I was, that I wound up winning. Let's not let the same thing happen this time. Let's try to kill the Alien first and foremost.

Scoop, if the Alien misses the deadline, would no text message be sent, or would we get a random garble like we just saw (akin to the way the hacker gets his scan randomized if he doesn't put in a pick)?

From page 1.

I guess that means it is possible that no one is infected, if Remus West is the Alien? It would also mean it is impossible for Remus West to be the Hacker? (Which paints somewhat of a bullseye on him for today's lynch, should he be released from cryo).

Alright, so we now know that Remus West is not the Alien (since a tweet was sent), and is also not the Hacker (since a Hack was broadcasted).

We know Holman is a Marine.

Not complaining here, but I was under the impression that the scan wouldn't reveal specific role among humans.
The Rules wrote:The Computer Hacker can decrypt a single cryo pod medical report from main computer once per Course Correction.
