I am present. I am a present. A gift, if you will. I do qualify in all areas. It is truly awe inspiring at times. :o
That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad.

Um, please tell me that is just a random list of actions to check off and not confirming when actual roles are picked up.

Nope, that is manly manly manly...I think its from another game he's referencing with that little blurb, which I happen to thoroughly enjoy. Dont press me man, you'll judge...i just know you will. Actually its the sims i think he's referencing; which has a very high proportion of female players V. male.

I've enjoyed the Sims - I will not be blowing an whistle on that.

However - I think you are wrong.

Reticulating Splines is (almost 100% sure on this) from SimCity, and the Sims just took it (if they had it as well... as I know they had a similar list).

I am almost certain that's from a loading screen from Sims 2. I haven't played Simcity much, but I played Sims 2 and Sims 3 a lot.

Yeah, it's Maxis that created it and put it in all those games.

I'm talking about it's origin.

wiki wrote:Reticulating splines (including many derivative forms) is a phrase included in many Maxis games (or their non-Maxis successors), including SimCity (SimCity 2000 and later), SimCopter, The Sims, The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. The phrase is most often shown in text while on a load screen, though in its first appearance, in SimCity 2000, it was spoken by a female voice. The term has become a somewhat well known in-joke and reference to SimCity or Maxis games in general.
