Did the sale start yet? It's usually closer to Christmas isn't it?

Yes, I've given DiRT Showdown twice (which I'm not counting because it can't be on anyone's wish list since it isn't for sale on Steam anymore) and I'm not counting games like Deadly Premonition which I've had up for free for a long time here. Anyone can claim those (mostly crappy) games but I'm not using them to pad my "gifts given" count, if anyone cares.

this game is pretty good - about halfway through now.
i spent about 12 hours on the rest of the game, and an additional 3 or 4 hours on the final boss. twice i got him within a smidgen of health on his second phase, but i just couldn't do it - it's a super long battle and the ball keeps going faster and faster until it becomes very easy to miss. so i turned the game difficulty down a notch and it became *too* simple to beat that guy. ah well, i've now 100%'ed it by getting all the monsters, gems, secrets and achievements. i'll likely play again in the future on a higher difficulty.

i do feel that $1.99 (or $0.99 on sale) is way underpriced for this - the developer should be charging more.

Just a quick bump, the Steam Christmas Sale probably starts tomorrow so if you want to get in on the giving and receiving, please post here and I will add your name to the list of participants in the OP.

So has the sale started? A bunch of stuff is discounted, but Steam doesn't seem to be making a big deal about it.

Sorry, I see what happened now. You did say you were not on the list and that is reflected in the OP. However, your name is on the Google doc with everyone's Steam id's and gifts given received so that is what I was looking at - I was trying to find people that had not received anything yet, and you were one of them. I guess I'll need to go in an clean up the Google doc.

Ok, I've gone in and cleaned up the Google spreadsheet, only those whose names in the OP are now on that list, though some of you have yet to add your Steam name/id to the list so we can know what to get you! So you have no right to complain if anyone gifts you that Japanese dating sim you just been dying to play :)

Thank you to Grifman for Twilight Struggle!!

Thank you to Sectoid and Stefan for Torchlight 2! :) Unfortunately, I already have that one - not sure why it is still showing up in my Wishlist. I can't accept it to pass it on and the system is having trouble declining the gift for you to pass it on. Hopefully I can get it working soon.

I tried but it said it couldn't as I already had it. I finally got the decline to work though.

I just wanted to state clearly that I am giving random Wishlistmas gifts out to various OO members, regardless of their participation in this thread. It is done without expectation that they in any way participate in this tradition; the games are provided in the spirit of giving. Or because I want you to own Roundabout or HuniePop.

Roundabout is awesome. And yes, same here, and I'm not expecting reciprocation (nor am I necessarily giving gifts to people who gave me gifts).
