Far Cry and a sloppy mouse.

If it's a video game it goes here.

Far Cry and a sloppy mouse.

Post by Ripstar »

IS there any cure for the sloppy mouse syndrome?

Liike where you move the target cursur but your gun gets there first.
Have 1024 ram and have installed the first patch.
You can run, but you'll just die tired.

You mean where you move your mouse back and forth and the cursor seems to lag a bit behind? There can be several causes. The most likely is simply poor performance.

There are a couple of tricks you can try, though. Try turning V-Sync both off and on, and try playing at the same resolution as your desktop (or a different resolution if you already are.)

Have you checked the lazy weapon setting in the options?

"Lazy Weapon: The Lazy weapon slider determines how much your character's gun "lags" onscreen. The further to the right the slider, the more your gun lags with movements, which may look more realistic to some people. Note however that while a high Lazy Weapon setting may make the gun appear to lag, your targeting cursor should never lag regardless of this setting. A lagging cursor is due to low FPS and is also affected by your Mouse settings under Control Options menu (see below)."
