Grand Prix Legends Help

Post by Kestrel »

I'm really late to the party, but I love the new demo of GPL 2004. The enhancements make it look great, and it runs great. Wish my driving was as good.

I got a copy of GPL and I want to install it properly and learn a few tips about racing.

I know that GG had a group that got together for races. Anyone out there have any help for a newbie?

Thanks, Kratz

Thanks for letting me know where the ggracing site was found.

Now I'll find out how to install and handle this sim.

Yeah, if you ask to be a part of that, they probably have instructions, or if not, they can point you towards them.

You might also check SimHQ's forums.

This is amazing -

I did some browsing and found a thread on racesimcentral about this. All you have to do is get the GPL_2004 demo, add the original ten tracks from the game CD (5 minutes), and then patch (or replace textures in) each of them and you have a full version of the game with all the current tweaks!

I've replaced textures for Spa, Nurburgring, and Kyalami to add to the Watkins Glen that was on the demo.

What a timesaver, and what a great looking and running sim!

Now I only have to learn how to drive well enough to be competitive.
