Best SNES game ever.
If you don't see your game listed here, DON'T VOTE. Make note in this thread, and I'll put it in.

Even though I never did beat it, Chronotrigger, most definetly. There's a certain kind of bliss when playing that game that is just so, so sweet.
In a close second, and I know this may sound odd, but Aerobiz Supersonic and Romance of the Three Kingdoms II are games I still play today. They just don't make games like they use to.

It's a Japanese game. Seiken Densetsu 3.
Nerd history alert! In Japan, Final Fantasy Adventure for the Game Boy was released as Seiken Densetsu. Secret of Mana was Seiken Densetsu 2. Seiken Densetsu 3 never made it over here. There's talk about maybe seeing it on the GBA, but there's nothing nailed down about it, more like speculation.
In SD3, you have 6 different characters to choose from, all of which have different special abilities and can change classes to learn new abilities (and get pallette-swapped!). Every one of them has their own backstory. The combat is tighter. If you can locate it (*a-HEM PM ME *cough*), it's highly recommended.

I think I did try playing this a year or two ago but couldn't get into it for one reason or another. Same deal for Sword of Mana on the GBA. I don't know what it was about Secret of Mana that grabbed me (and man, did it ever) but the other games in the series just haven't done it for me. Go figure.Eel Snave wrote:It's a Japanese game. End of line.
