Best SNES game ever.

If you don't see your game listed here, DON'T VOTE. Make note in this thread, and I'll put it in.

Even though I never did beat it, Chronotrigger, most definetly. There's a certain kind of bliss when playing that game that is just so, so sweet. :)

In a close second, and I know this may sound odd, but Aerobiz Supersonic and Romance of the Three Kingdoms II are games I still play today. They just don't make games like they use to.

Secret of Mana, yo.

Probably my favorite console game of all-time.
End of line.

OH GOD! I can't edit polls.

Have you ever played Secret of Mana 2? WAY better, seriously.

Do you mean Legend of Mana? Or one of those Japanese ones that were never released in the states?
End of line.

It's a Japanese game. Seiken Densetsu 3.

Nerd history alert! In Japan, Final Fantasy Adventure for the Game Boy was released as Seiken Densetsu. Secret of Mana was Seiken Densetsu 2. Seiken Densetsu 3 never made it over here. There's talk about maybe seeing it on the GBA, but there's nothing nailed down about it, more like speculation.

In SD3, you have 6 different characters to choose from, all of which have different special abilities and can change classes to learn new abilities (and get pallette-swapped!). Every one of them has their own backstory. The combat is tighter. If you can locate it (*a-HEM PM ME *cough*), it's highly recommended.

I've only played Final Fantasy 3, so I voted for that.

It's actually one of a few RPG's I've finished.

Chrono Trigger of course. All other votes are irrelevant :P

Toss up between King Arthur's World and Might & Magic III: Isles of Terra. I'll probably give M&M3 the edge since it was a gateway to World of Xeen on the PC...

I think I did try playing this a year or two ago but couldn't get into it for one reason or another. Same deal for Sword of Mana on the GBA. I don't know what it was about Secret of Mana that grabbed me (and man, did it ever) but the other games in the series just haven't done it for me. Go figure.
End of line.

Chrono Trigger. I played FF3 more (huge game), but Chrono Trigger was the first game I ever called in to work to finish.

I have to disagree with the SD3 comment. It was a good game, but the original Secret of Mana was better, IMO.

My choice would be Ogre Battle, which is probably my favorite console game. However, of the choices listed, I'd go with FF3 over Chrono Trigger. Both excellent games, but I just loved FF3.

Mystical Ninja! ;) I loved that damn game.

The best SNES game for me was Cybernator, without a doubt. I don't expect anyone else to vote for that so you don't have to add it to the poll.

Final Fantasy 3. Chrono Trigger was great, but Final Fantasy was just....gaming perfection to me. Way too many hours spent playing FF3.
