I'm not a big rap or hip-hop fan, I've never heard of half the fighters and I'm not very into 3D fighting games. It's still hella good.
The single player campaign is often hilarious. Most fighters' victory speeches and taunts put cookie-eating grins on my face. The design-a-fighter and training systems are simple but fun. The finishing moves are brutal. And shopping for new clothes and jewelry is disturbingly addictive.
Plus Snoop gives an Oscar/Emmy/Grammy/Tony winning performance as the evil mastermind who just don't respect THE CODE, YO!
I had 3 friends come over and give this game a whirl this weekend. All said this wasn't a game they would've ever thought of buying before playing it, but now they want to rush out and pick up a copies of their own.
